Etsy & other stuff *pics*

I know I just wrote the day before yesterday, but I’m in a writing mood now that OD doesn’t work properly it seems. =) I love this site and I really hope it doesn’t leave for good!

Before I forget, here’s my 28-week belly pics.  Not the best lighting, but you get the picture.

I need to back away from Etsy, stat, or I will go broke! =) I was on a mission to get things we need for Caden, so I ordered his crib mattress yesterday, then I got lost in the world of Etsy and spent the rest of my money there, lol!  I got this, which I’m thinking might be a possible coming home outfit (with leg warmers since it will be October):

I’m not sure though.  Sometimes things look differently than you think they will.  I remember Emily’s coming home outfit turned out way too big and she just came home in some newborn pjs, hehe.  It doesn’t really matter in the end.

And Bryan and I have been trying to come up with kind of matchy Halloween costumes for the kids since Caden is scheduled to come the day before Halloween, and I think we figured it out!

Little red riding hood and a wolf. <3 So adorable!  I’m thinking I’ll bring a nice throw blanket to the hospital with us and I’m *hoping* to get a picture of them together before Emily goes trick or treating.  I realize nothing might happen the way I want it to, but there’s no harm in trying to make it happen at least.  Fingers crossed!  I just pictured my mom and Bryan trying to get Emily to leave to go trick or treating and her not wanting to leave me. *sigh* I’m really looking forward to her visiting in the hospital, but saying goodbye is not going to be fun and I know I will cry if she cries when she leaves.  Bah..must think positive!

In fact, I’m trying to keep a positive attitude going today since I found a new stretch mark this morning and I know it’s probably going to get worse. =( I think the bio oil is making them not turn red, but I saw something this morning lower on my stomach (had to get a mirror to see it, lol) and it’s a white stretch mark. The fact he’s in a completely different position than Emily means I’m probably going to get them differently. =/ Trying to keep my chin up about it and realize they fade and the few I got with Emily never bugged me, so hopefully these ones end up being not very noticeable in the end too.  Yes, I know they’re worth it (tiger stripes, blah blah blah) but when your kids are older and you just want to feel sexy in your skin, it is a bummer, no matter how fortunate I am to have my kids.  But alas, there’s nothing I can do about it, so no point in dwelling. =)

I ended up ordering that maternity dress in my last entry.  If I don’t like it I’ll just return it.  I found this one online yesterday

<div style="font-family: Noteworthy; font-size: 18px; font-weight: bold; line-height: 24px; -web

I got out my juicer for the first time last weekend (did I wrote about this already?) and juiced for breakfast today!  Kale and cucumber, celery, ginger, lemon and apple.  Caden has been moving around like crazy this morning! =) I miss juicing, but it’s time consuming and expensive, so just doing it when I can fit it in is nice.

Oh, I took Emily to a Kangaroo farm yesterday!  I feel like my energy is starting to come back again, thank goodness.  It was a good time though.  It only took an hour, but it was only $9 and Emily had a great time.  Here’s some pics:

If I can get off early enough from work today and it’s not windy down there, I’ll try taking her to that island again today.  It was gorgeous yesterday and I stopped by the ferry on my way home to pick up boat tickets, but they didn’t have any left. =( I’m going to swing by at lunch today and pick some up if I can.

Emily woke up at night for the first time in a long time Tuesday night.  She didn’t need us to come get her, but she sat there in her crib awake for a good half hour, just chewing on her lovey.  She wasn’t crying or anything and she fell back asleep, but I feel like it’s the beginning of the end of her new lovely sleep habits.  She didn’t wake up last night, but she fought going to bed big time, went to sleep late, then woke up an hour early!  She never wakes up that early.  It was actually kind of nice though because I got to spend more time with her before I went to work, I got to work on time and didn’t have to rush, had time to juice before I left.  Problem is Bryan was a little grumpy because he stays up late assuming she’ll sleep in, then their bad moods kind of play off each other which I could see beginning to happen before I left.  Even if she’s tired, as long as I’m calm and happy and understanding with her, everything will be fine.  But if I’m exhausted and a little short or not as understanding, she ramps it up even more.  I don’t expect they’ll have the best morning.  But I seem to have good energy again today, so I’ll be happy when I come home and we’ll have a good afternoon. =)

All right, back to work.

Very cute outfits!!! It’s adorable. I hope things work out the way you want it 🙂 When is your C-section again? How long did it take you to recover from a c-section? It’s my first child and I am still considering… my sister-in-law said she was fine, but could not walk for 1 week, after that it was pretty fast recovery.
