Phone Call From The Twilight Zone
AT&T customers know about SIM cards. When I was at Verizon we didn’t have them, so I have been learning and liking the SIM card since 2006.
Last week my awesome Samsung A687 would not take a charge. I had 4 hours worth of bad bullshit customer service and finally, they are sending me a battery.
We have a phone line we do not use right now, due to kid drama and Bill’s selfishness. So I swapped SIM cards and put my memory card in the spare phone too. I took it on my road trip to Ohio with Bill.
I accidently left it in the TA in Clayton, IN and an employee took it and began to use it. I left it on just for this sort of thing! So we are working with management to recover it.
Meanwhile… Monday I found out there is a store I can swap my bad phone out in St. Louis instead of waiting for it to ship. When I first used it Sunday night, I called Bill so he would be able to save the number.
We have that music set up so when you call us you hear songs. Verizon used to have it too. I had Margaritaville on mine. After a year it expires and you can re-up it or change songs.
Sherry’s is "Hello Darlin" and Bill’s is the opening thing from Dukes of Hazzard because he loves that show.
I called his phone and I heard the song playing "Already Gone" by the Eagles. I was trying to verify I was’t hallucinating! I asked if he changed his song, cuz he’s not a phone web person. I spend my time typing on my phone, not talking. He’s just the opposite.
I hung up and redialed, never telling him what I just heard, only that it wasn’t ringing through, we live in a CRAPPY signal area. Messages and VM will get through, but call don’t always ring in.
Just a funny song and funny timing….. in The Twilight Zone
Wishing you Peace and Resolution,
Yaechle
