i have a question to pose to people who are deeply ingrained in faith of a higher being.

Have you ever read a fictional work, Such as the Davinci code by Dan Brown, or some other work stating about a devout bloodline and it makes you question the very things you were taught from childhood, but doesn’t change your belief in the one true god, but really touches your soul as to being a hint of the real true story? OR am i just being completely open minded to things that happened thousands and thousands of years ago.

I noticed i’ve serverly lacked in wanting to go to church since i’ve gotten out of college and i’ve always wondered if that was because i didn’t have much of a choice growing up, but if you read back to when i went to see "HEavens Gates and hells Flames" you know i went through a magical experiance of devout tugging. But as i sit hear reading from my lastest find in fictional accounts of what could be true but not a single soul has a real way of proving that. this latest book that i purchased called THE CHOSEN ONE by katheleen MCgown well as reaffirmed what i felt when i read the davinci code.

I know im not the best practicing christian out there But i do know in my heart that something hits me when i read this works of fiction that reduces me to tears. i have no previous affliation to this kind of reading normally i prefer romance, fantasy novels, Yet hear i am reading spirtual fiction about events that could or couldn’t have happened no one knows for sure.

its kinda true but we have to remember that belief in the one true god takes us to paradise

What the noter before me said is no entirely true. How can we be 100% sure that belief in “the one true God” will take us anywhere? How can we be sure? There is nothing wrong with questioning faith. Going to church doesn’t automatically make you a good christian. I’ve found that God isn’t in the church anymore. It’s so much better to make your own desicions, then to just believe everything you’ve

been told. Why just believe people when you could stand up and think for yourself? I’d love to talk to you about this, I study religion. Do you have any messengers or something because 400 words is not nearly enough. :-]

*Random Noter* -I believe that it is down to our own choices what we believe -even if we are not completely sure which direction our faith carries us in -we can still adopt Christian principals in life -thinking of others and being (or at least trying to be) a ‘good’ person in life is a far greater virtue than simply attending a church or knowing a religious text inside out:-)

Religion is a very important part of my life. As far as your questions I don’t think that anyone has all the answers. God is the only one who knows all and we can find the answers we need from him through sincere prayer and meditation. Some things we are not ment to know in this life either. I hope you can find the answers you need.

Remember God answers all prayers its just sometimes we don’t get the answer we want. We have to trust in the Lord’s plan and trust his answers.
