i Voted Bush

well i voted bush n proud to say so cus i believe Kerry is the worst of the two evils. but people say one thing and do the exact opposite once their in office. however i do have to commend that bush did manage to lower taxes n what not. so i can’t really complain too much.

here is what i would do if i was prez.  (create a list of 5 things ya would change if you were prez) n leave me a not it ya do it or not

1)create a more united states.  ex: we have our own problems work on those rather than other countries.

2)  Social security Reform <—– Very badly needed especially if i want to have social security benifits by the time i retire.

3)Financial Aid for college student reformed <— outta financial aid and have to pay 3600 for my last quarter and have no money to do so.

4)Restructure the Tax system

5) Spend 50 % of the budget on education and security and 25% of the budget on foreign policy and the last 25% on bailing out the treasury.

hope u enjoyed my fun little politics thing.

Your actions you’d take as president…. sounds more like something Kerry is more likely to do. Bush is probably going to start another war if Iraq ever ends. So much for focusing domestically.

1. change the voting system- paper receipts for electronic voting cards and banish the electoral college system. the sheer number of americans should determine who wins – like on American Idol. 🙂 2. make healthcare a priority. 3. make education a priority. 4. create an american world-view – that we are world citizens first. 5. do away with hunger and homelessness. 🙂

If you where in my shoes you would feel 100 % different, My fiance is a Marine in Fallujah right now fighting a war that should not even be fought. We started this war in Afghanistan, why are we in Iraq?! That is so ignorant.. KERRY FOR PRESIDENT!!!!

I voted for Bush, too. It’s not ALL about the war in Iraq unfortunately. So no, unlike the above noter, you are not “ignorant” for voting for the person you feel identifies with your needs most. The above noter is ignorant for pushing their political agenda off on you.

It’s a shame people were too cowardly to sign their names with their opinion. I disagree strongly with the idea with the idea of Bush remaining as President of your country, but I respect your democratic right to vote for him.

Yay for W.

i respect your opinion (thats why i am signing this note) but i disagree very very much. i have a brother in the army now and he is supposed to be sent to iraq in january to fight a war that should have never began. i feel as if bush is sending our troops to finish a war his dad couldnt finish. this is my first year making an effort to vote and it is out of my pure disgust for bush and his ideals.

We do not have the right to lose this election

OMG, what’s with these people?! Their family is in Iraq because they CHOSE to sign up to fight for their country! DUH! This isnt a freakin DRAFT!! They WANTED to die for fellow Americans. Did they think they’d just get off easy like some people before them? TOO BAD! If America was under negative ruling like Iraq, we would silently be hoping and praying that another country would help us out, which

is what America did for them. UGH!!! People make me so mad. GO BUSH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We need a CHRISTIAN in office for once. *sigh* Sorry for my rant, but people are such idiots sometimes!!!!! IF YOU DONT WANT TO POSSIBLY GIVE YOUR LIFE IN A WAR FOR YOUR COUNTRY, DONT SIGN UP FOR THE MILITARY!!! Whether this war was “needed” or not, the military people KNEW what they were signing up for!

everything you states is what Kerry planned on doing…did you actually do any research on the issues before you voted? Bush is going to do away with social security and Kerry was going to work on problems at home. Maybe those greater of two evils would of fulfilled some of your wants…

You are aware that Bush cut Pell Grant funding right?

November 2, 2004

Check into Bush’s underfunding of his No Child Left Behind program.. WTF are you even thinking voting for him if these issues mean something to you? I don’t get it, but it’s par for the course..

i am not a huge fan of kerry, but seriously i would choose him over bush anyday, hell i would choose a trained monkey over bush anyday. if a ceo of a company does his job badly he gets fired, you dont give him 4 more years to fix his problems. you get him out of the office and find someone to clean up his mess. there is not one thing bush did good in 4 years in office. why give him a second term

No Child Left Behind under funded? Maybe, but Democrats fail to point out that Bush increased federal education spending to levels considerably above those in the Clinton years. Bush is going to do away with social security? I doubt it. HeÂ’s certainly never said that, despite KerryÂ’s claims. But Social Security is a big problem with no easy answers. It has worked till now because the workforce

(from the baby boomer generation) paying into it was larger the generation collecting benefits. When the baby boomers retire it wonÂ’t be. Interestingly, when FDR introduced Social Security he intentionally made the retirement age so high that most people would die before they could collect anything. He just didnÂ’t count on the increase in average life spans.

Create an American world-view – that we are world citizens first? Not until the rest of the world makes a lot more progress in that direction. They do token things so they can say thatÂ’s what theyÂ’re doing but when the chips are down they donÂ’t live up to those responsibilities. Most of the countries that talk a good game arenÂ’t willing to make the real sacrifices that come with being

“world citizens first.” Finish a war his dad couldnt finish? So Sherry Lynn, you would have supported this war if it had been part of the first Gulf War? I’m not sure I see why. We would have been in almost the same situation if we removed Saddam in 91. The other countries would have balked at the task we now face (if they hadn’t balked at removing him at all since freeing Kuwait was the goal).

The Kurds would have still wanted to be free. The Sunni would have still resisted giving up their power. That means plenty of former regime members and others from the “Sunni Triangle” would have taken the war to a terrorist-insurgent-ambush kind of war we are fighting now.

KerryÂ’s big problem was he presented no real plan for anything. Ignoring Iraq (for which he seemed to have no plan or contradictory plans), his policy could be boiled down to the following: Spend, Spend, Spend, Protect trial lawyers, Raise taxes (only on the rich he says), spend, Repeal the Patriot Act, Spend, Start a worldwide trade war, and some how balance the budget (yeah right!)
