When Lons was a child he built a city
He placed each tower on the ground
Ordered
Measured
He watched as the people climbed each building
Filled it
Over time the ground became uneven
Over time the people created mythologies of conflict
Much of the city was destroyed
One way or another
So Lons made a wide board to place over the city
Placing it to rest on the rooftops
The buildings becoming columns to support it
And he built another city
