You know there’s this pause
Just after everything ends
For a moment I think I may just be able to stay up
Glide and recover myself
But then I fall
I fall so fast
Tumbling down through the worst of emotions
My body spinning and turning
Flung by the air itself as if it had hands

Then I right myself as I fall
Look down beneath me and see
There’s no ground
I’m going to keep falling
Falling down forever

That’s when I realise I can’t help myself
That the pain is burning like a fire that feeds on its own heat
And I need someone to save me
