Dear Future Version of Me,

I hope you are having a good day today. You should be. Because you should be ETSing from the Army today. I can only imagine the joy that has recently filled your life. Congratulations.

Now a little bit about myself, yourself, ourself. Whatever. I’m in Iraq right now. I’ve been here since 1 November 2006. Life sucks. I am currently EXPECTING to be home by October 2007, but there are rumors of possible extensions.

Enjoy being a free man. I know I dream of the day I am the recipient of this letter.

If only I would have known I actually got out of the Army early! Haha. Awesome.

I did not get out of Iraq in October. I got out of Iraq in November.

And yes, my life is so much better now.
