Reflection

Lettuce… (let us)

take a time to reflect on the past year of hardship in my life.

The beautiful scenery…

Scenery continued.

A coworker of mine. He is the only other 25B in the battalion. We each do 50% of the computer work in the battalion. He’s definetly my right hand man at work.

Attacking Iraqi kids with silly string!

A good buddy of mine. Helped me keep my sanity in Iraq.

The best S1 shop I have ever known in my army career.

This dude is awesome. This is Lucio. He is my toughest opponent in Smash Bros. He’s gone now though, he PCS’d to Fort Sill, OK. So I wont be seeing him anymore. I’m sad that we no longer get to have those awesome Smash Bros matches… oh well. I’M STILL THE CHAMPION. >=)

I work with all of the people pictured here. This was during Radcliff’s going away party at Hooters. =) Radcliff is the one on the far right in the white shirt. Radcliff is now a civilian. He went back home to Alabama. I plan on being in the Florida Alabama area when I get out. Maybe I’ll pay him a visit.

Thanksgiving Dinner in Iraq.

Coming home. Thank God.

SGT Mccloskey posing with future terrorists.

SSG Taylor and Lucio chillaxing at the end of the day. SSG Taylor later got his promotion and is now our Platoon sergeant.

Lucio again.

Scenery.

Radcliff and my buddy Critt.

Heh… Don’t ask. Just being silly to pass the time.

My buddy Kenworthy again.

Hong and Critt. S4 and S6. The best two shops. Working together.

SGT Mac found his female clone. These two shared similiar… ‘values’.

Haha, I love this thing. Kids would always send us stuff in care packages. Well one time we got a box full of penguins made by the children. Well THIS penguin stood out to us. It seems this penguin is trying to say to us: “She touched me here, and here… and I liked it.” So we kept it in our shop and that was the logo to go with this penguin. What kind of 8 year old kid made this???

Although I found myself arguing with this woman more than being friendly, I have to confess. That mole is so damn sexy. All women who read this: Get a Sharpie and put a mole like this on your neck.

S1 OIC. And friend. I always pillaged her box she kept near her desk. It was always full of candy from the care packages.

S1 again. The middle guy is SSG Walters. He’s helping me fight for my school drop right now. He’s a good person.

At least the good side of Iraq is all those stupid regulations go flying out the window. And people can just relax around each other. Rankless.

SGT Mac and Critt at the Ball.

SSG Walters doing a surprise tea-bagging on a poor unsuspecting soldier.

Skaggs. Good friend. Great with computers, but in the wrong MOS (job).

The other good thing about Iraq. The BBQ’s.

This is Crabs. Justin. My old room mate. Normally he has more hair though. I miss this dude.

The boss I worked for in Iraq. He’s also the person who made me aware of the School drop’s existence. If it weren’t for him, I would have been resigned to a fate of stoploss. SFC Flores.

Wah, shiznit! The nigga ranger! =)

Promotion ceremony. I was there for Kenworthy and Walters.

’nuff said.

My Christmas spent in Iraq. Went all out on decorating.

I swear to God, I laughed out loud at the, “Future Terrorists,” picture. HAHAH. Also, I’m glad to see that, no matter how horrible it is in Iraq, you guys still have Texas Pete hot sauce to put on your food. 😉 I love all of these pictures!

You guys, man. What characters, all of you! These photos made me laugh so much. It’s funny to see though, to actually see you in the army. I mean, of course you’re in it, but it’s sometimes hard to see it as more than just words. But you’re there, and you were actually there, and that’s more than I can comprehend. I cannot begin to imagine everything you’ve done and seen.

You know, I looked at this entry quite a few times, but never knew quite what to say about it. I’m glad you had such cool people with you while you were going through this crap 🙂 and the future terrorist thing made me LOL hardcore. I love these pictures! Thanks for sharing them

7/29/10 I enjoyed the pictures. =)
