Well.
Justin (my room mate) is gone. He left for his short vacation and then will be at Fort Hood from then on. I said goodbye. I’m sad.
He was a good buddy, a good friend. I’ll miss him. I hate goodbyes. I really do.

Saying goodbye is always tough… but it usually means another new beginning is around the corner, and you’ll have new things in life to keep you occupied. Chin up, dear ryn: it’s funny that you said get a day to sleep, because I took a “mental health” day and stayed home from school today. ha

RYN: Thats not actually true. There are people that I want to be good friends with and so when Im not in daily or some kind of other consistent contact with them it stresses me out. However, I have had other casual friends or aquaintances as well as close friends that I became distanced from for some reason or another and had them come back into my life years later and we just picked up where

I hate goodbye, too. It just seems so final. RYC: HA! My protection! I don’t know if the Army/Navy/ etc. operates like this anymore, but I picture Maverick as the kind of idiot who messes up all the time and winds up peeling potatoes. I saw on your front page that you’re in the Army – so, thank you. 🙂

7/29/10 I hate goodbyes too, more than anything but sometimes it happens. At least you have the memories.
