Blah… fascinating rumours… WTF Amazon that’s 2 days in a row

Every time I think about what happened with my “friend” yesterday I keep shaking. I have no idea how it all escalated so fast. I’m resisting the urge to message him and apologise. I know I did nothing wrong but losing a friend over something so childish and petty seems wrong. Yes, the argument that a friend wouldn’t punch someone over science is well understood. That’s one of the reasons why I haven’t sent a message.

I can’t help but wonder what I should do about friend 2 who didn’t really do much. I’m not upset with them at all. At the same time, I’m not sure I want any friends who are left-leaning at this point.

I’ve reset my iPhone, and so far it seems to be slightly faster than before. It’s still not where it was when I got it; however four years have passed, it’s bound to slow down a little. Slowly I’m reinstalling only the most essential apps.

I’ve also switched to my network a little, and now my MacBook won’t cast to the Xbox One, but my phone does.

I decided to attach the power bar to the desk. Well, that was a nightmare. First I put the template on upside down, so the wholes didn’t match at all.

Then, I discovered that one of the guide holes that hold the bar to the desk had a manufacturing defect. After ripping the power bar apart and somehow; thankfully, managing to use a tiny screwdriver to chip the excess plastic off the guide hole – it fit! What should have been a four-minute job took nearly an hour.

I got a call today from “Uncle Bob” asking me if I wanted to go back and work for him. I said no, but now I think if that wouldn’t be a bad idea. I could work out of the Toronto office and pretty much have a quiet desk job this time.

I also heard two fascinating rumours today.

One – Al Waleed; the SA prince who was arrested during the roundup, confessed to sending snipers and providing financial support for the Mandalay Bay mass shooting.

Second – The Marines; under orders of President Trump, secured the Bush Center for Intelligence and stopped a potential coup.

Until I confirm, they are just rumours and not to be taken seriously.

Fucking Amazon. Today my package that has been “out for delivery” all day wasn’t delivered. I’m waiting another hour or so before I contact them and give them shit – second day in a row. I had the CSR put an always ring/signature notice to the driver. That way I have to be notified. I don’t know why that wasn’t offered yesterday or why I didn’t think of it.

I don’t understand what’s happening with them. This was my 28th order from them this year. I’ve only had problems with the last two. I’m trying very hard not to lose my patience with them, but they really need to get their shit together fast.

Anyhow, I think it’s time to go to bed and finish installing the apps on my phone.
