Marijuana Kills Cancer (We Love You Robin!)

Howard, Robin and friends,
 

My brother and I have been enjoying the show for years and are tremendously grateful for the decades worth of comedy, insight and entertainment. We’re also thankful that Robin–the warm, radiant heart of the show has conquered her cancer and will continue enriching the lives of everyone she touches.
 
Howard, back in February you wondered aloud if cancer could be cured by something simple. Penicillin was discovered by accident, is there something right in front of our faces that could reverse such a miserable fate for billions of people?
 
Marijuana kills cancer. As far back as 1974 researchers at the Medical College of Virginia used THC to slow several types of cancer growth in mice. In 2000, Dr. Manuel Guzman of Complutense University in Madrid was able to duplicate the results by injecting rats with THC, shrinking and eradicating incurable brain tumors.
 
A small movement has circulated in the last few years. Pioneers like Rick Simpson have been developing and distributing hemp oil to cancer patients, and an overwhelming amount of anecdotal evidence has been flooding the Internet. Time and time again, hemp oil has proven itself a safe, effective and comparatively cheap alternative to chemo and radiation therapy.
 
Companies like Dixie Botanicals have been producing products high in cannabidiol (CBD), a type of cannabinoid that has none of the psychoactive effects of the plant and is therefore completely legal in any state in the country. 
 
Dr. Sanjay Gupta’s recent reversal on medical marijuana is a huge step in the right direction, but the movement needs to gain some momentum if it’s going to break through the ignorance perpetuated by roughly 75 years of reefer madness. 
 
As Howard supports Dr. John Sarno in spite of the prejudices of the medical community, and as Robin has spent a lifetime embracing positive habits and natural remedies, we hope that you’ll at least keep an open mind and look into the treasure trove of information (see below) regarding this harmless and greatly misunderstood plant.
