LSE 1151-1200

1151) Have you ever practiced a different religion: Yes.

1152) What do you think about cloning: Scientifcally speaking, I think it’s interesting. Morally speaking, I think it’s wrong. It seems that the more we try to expand our knowledge, the more it seems like we’re trying to become God.

1153) Does the topic of religions interest you: Yes, though I find it’s very difficult to talk to people about it. I’m very open minded and very curious about what people believe, but it seems like when you try to talk to someone about it they get protective and defensive.

1154) Which ones have you studied about: I have studied or talked to people about almost all of the major religions.

1155) Name something you found neat about each religion you studied: I don’t have enough time to discuss…not to mention, an entire book could be written about this.

1157) Does your current religious beliefs keep you from doing anything: Lying, killing, stealing, ya know…the norm.

1158) What would you say or do if you met your God today: I would cry.

1162) Do you think they really eat babies and make human sacrifices: No, I think that’s rediculous.

1164) How involved with religion are you: Well, it’s something I always think about. I don’t consider myself a very religious person. I consider myself very spiritual. For some reason, I’ve never taken to the term “religious”

1165) What is your views on speaking in tongues: I think people are quick to judge what they don’t understand or are unfamiliar with. For instance, I read The Raging Quiet, I forget now who the author is, but it revolves around a boy who is deaf. The town’s people didn’t understand and when he tried to communicate with the noises he could, they believed he was speaking in tongues. They would then tie him to a stump and whip him because they thought he was channeling the devil.

1166) What are your views on what God is: I think everyone has their own perception of “God”, an image which they find more comfortable to relate to. Personally, I prefer to view “God” as the God and Goddess because it makes more sense to me to have the balance. “All the Gods are one.”

1167) What do you think about the flying spaghetti monster: I’m sorry, the what?

1168) Do you practice the same faith as your parents: No.

1169) If not, do your parents have any issues with you practicing something different: My mom, no…after all I had to get my open mind from somewhere. My dad, yeah I kind of think he does. We make it a point not to discuss religion.

1170) If you were under charged for something you bought would you tell the cashier: If I noticed it at the time, yes.

1171) Would you get rid of the family pet for 100,000: No way!
