Sabastian is sick
Sabastian is sick. He has an ear infection, and sinus infection. he is fussy, and poopy, and just too much fun.
The doctor told me to wean him off formula, and onto food, and milk (I am thinking almond milk) I don’t know how to do that exactly. He is still having issues with cups and such, and then what do I feed him when he has 2 teeth, and doesn’t chew? I struggled with this with Samara too.
Good news is he finally grew and inch and is gaining some weight. He is still in the 10th percentile, but at 28 inches and 20 lbs, he is growing some.
I am winding down from my steroid high yesterday. Ahh it was nice while it lasted.
And with that I smell poop… Gross, grossy, gross.

I could not imagine being pregnant and having to change poopy diapers let alone being as sick as you are and doing it. I’ll say a prayer for your little one. Sick babies are absolutely no fun!

Brynn is only 18.4 lbs and 28 3/4 inch long. She is very picky and eats very little solids. I still nurse her constantly. She does love all cheese though…maybe Sebastian will too? Some yogurt and ahe loves those gerber cheese puff things. Also yogurts and pudding.

I’m finding Gabe and almond milk are an awesome pair. The only thing that would make it better would be if WIC would pay for 4 gallons of it a month versus 4 gallons of cows milk he can’t drink (and I don’t want to do soy with him). Maybe almond milk in a baby bottle, since he’s still under one year old… and soft food (not necessarily purees… but whatever you’re eating, but smooshed by fork.

RYN: what do you mean about baby grows chick? Yeh, I’m not sure I’d be entirely comfortable with my body being out in public If I am totally honest 🙁 I understand that breast milk is supposed to be better for the baby though? I hope Sebastian feels better soon! Keeping him in my thoughts xx
