On Sabastian & Samara in Chicago *Videos*

 My short little blurbs abotu the trip to Chicago with my little ones respective videos. 

So I tried to make a video like they have on ABC on Saturday mornings, called my week in 3 words. Well it didn’t work as well as I had hoped but I did make a cute video at the end. It took forever and ever to get this uploaded to the sites, but once I did the site was pretty easy to use.

I want to go on record now and say he hated the trip. Have you ever seen a  month old have a sensory meltdown? No fun. Especially when there is little mommy can do to fix it.

The trip was lots of fun, and I am happy we went, but I am sad to say this may be my last trip until he is old enough to regulate better, or I can go without him. There are worse things in life than that. I should know I was reminded of it first hand on the way home. But that is another entry for another day I am sure.

So without anymore interruptions here is Sabastian in Chicago.

My darling little Samara. She will be 5 on Saturday, how the heck has this happened?

I mean really only yesterday was she no bigger than her brother, nursing and crying at me. Now well she is no longer nursing. Sure she may cry more than most little ones her age, but what do you expect. She loves to go to Chicago. My little one who hates to leave the house goes on a train and travels so well. She loves everything about the city from the Taxis to the museums, to the buildings, to Portillos!

There is nothing about the trip she hates except the walking and coming home.

We did fantastically, her behavior was better than to be expected, and she walked the whole trip. She even slept at night! She tried new foods, and had such a fabulous time.

I enjoy sharing the world with her, there is so much more outside of my small little town, and I am happy she wants to experience it all. I can’t even tell you how well she did in the city. Plus with it being so close to St. Patricks day the town is decorated with Shamrocks so we tell her they decorated it just for her. She believes me, and I love it.

And with that dude man needs me to appease his bum, and she needs me to type another story for her, one of her latest obsessions.
