I really…

…ought to be doing something constructive, rather than sitting on the computer.

Oh, but wait. What have I done today? In no particular order….

• Finished painting the master bedroom.
• Taped up more of the living room…..until I ran out of tape AGAIN.
• Called to get our internet service switched.
• Put away my scrapbooking supplies that were just sitting around in the spare room.
• Packed up four boxes – granted, they’re small boxes, but they’re packed nonetheless.
• Changed the litter box….and then had to vacuum the stairs because the bag split open. Gross.
• Ran the dishwasher.
• Made dinner.
• Gave Noah a bath….oh, and all of that other mommy stuff I have to do throughout the day.

Jake? Didn’t wake up until four this afternoon. He did manage to call to get all of our other utilities switched over – he had to, they’re in his name! Then he went over to the house…..in three hours, all he managed to do was finish taping the living room and got the one big blank wall painted. So guess who’ll end up over there tomorrow morning to finish? *sigh*

In not so new news, I’m pissed at the VA yet again. I went to get the mail and saw an envelope from them, but had a feeling that it wasn’t a check. Nope, it was one of the forms they send him to record his hours. But here’s the kicker – it’s EXACTLY the same as the one we mailed in back in July! He tried to call, but apparantly, they close at four so he’ll have to call back sometime next week.

Anyway, the boy has woken up and is screaming his head off, so I better go tend to him.
