That’s what I hear now…not only the sound of me typing, but that’s also pretty much the sound one of the toys on Noah’s walker makes. *sigh* That thing is the devil…..remind me again WHY my mom bought it when I specifically told her that I didn’t want one? But the boy loves it, and if I keep it locked he can’t go anywhere in it, so then it essentially becomes the same thing as an exersaucer, really.

Anyway. I’m FINALLY ready to start Noah’s crib set. I had to go out and get cording and more fabric so that I could make the piping for the bumpers myself…I couldn’t find anything premade that I really liked. I had a bit of a backlog of other things I needed to sew, that’s the only reason I haven’t at least started yet. But now that’s all mostly done (still have a few other things that are waiting to be finished, but I need to get some more blanket binding), I can start! Though…I don’t think I’ll actually start sewing anything until tomorrow, since Jake is off tonight. I’ll just get all of my cutting and pinning done.

I went up to Barnes & Noble the other day to reserve a copy of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Jake has to work the night it’s released, so I won’t be able to do the midnight thing like we did with HBP. So, I’ll just go first thing that morning.

I need to schedule Noah’s 9 month checkup. Yeesh, nine months already? Sure doesn’t seem like it!

I’m so excited. I ordered a new AC adaptor for my laptop….I ordered it a week ago but it didn’t ship until today *grumble*…but soon, I will finally be able to use MY laptop again! I hate using Jake’s. Even though his has a faster processor than mine, it runs slow as heck. I can’t even play cheesy games online. Not to mention the CD drive is broke, and one day I had to shut it down because for some reason, some of the keys wouldn’t work.

And ooooh, Rescue Me starts back up tonight! It’ll be nice to have at least one show with new episodes to watch during the off season.

That’s about all I’ve got for now. Just figured I ought to let y’all know we’re still alive!
