Do you see that?

My baby boy is seven months old today.

Where in the heck has the time gone? I was browsing through my pictures of him the other day, and it’s hard to believe that it’s been seven months already. What happened to that itty bitty boy I brought home? When did he become my big happy boy?

It’s such a gradual change, and yet, it’s quite sudden.

Anyway. I finally found the perfect thing to wear for the wedding. Cute little top that I paired with one of my black skirts.

It was a great wedding, though a bit soggy. We had warmth and sunshine for the ceremony, so it was held outside. And Amy came up by a boat – the wedding and reception were both held in Cypress Gardens, and there’s a swamp/marsh type thing. Anyway, it was really neat, and Noah was good for the most part…..as long as he was being held, anyway! The reception was a little awkward for us, because I sure as in hell didn’t know anyone, and Jake only knew Amy and Mike (her husband), so…..but eh, we had a good time, and were told many many times that we have a beautiful son, so I can’t complain. And I’ll have some pictures to show y’all eventually because we had our pictures taken a couple of times, and Amy said she’d email ’em to Jake.

Ummm…not much else going on, really. Oh, but wait! Daddy called on Saturday and I talked to him for a bit, since Jake was still in bed and I answered the phone. He’s going to try and come out to see us next month….which means he must really be feeling bad about how he acted and treated us when we were out there over New Year’s, because he hates driving long distances like that. And I guess Dawn married the piece of shit guy she left Daddy for, can you believe that? AND she’s pregnant! And she keeps going around telling people that Carley is scared of Daddy, even though Daddy did get to see her somewhat recently and she drew him a picture of the Happy Feet penguins. I’m sorry, but a child doesn’t draw pictures for someone she’s supposedly scared of….or at least, Carley wouldn’t! This whole thing is still just such a bloody mess.
