Putting the important edit at the top so no one has to scroll to find it (I did an edit earlier to provide some info on the kitties for my newer readers, so if you don’t know about our cats, scroll down to the pictures of them!).

Just because I’m obsessive like that, I was looking at the Babies R Us registry again….I keep looking at all of them to decide if we REALLY need/want everything that’s on them….

Anyway….

I’m assuming that you’re sitting down, since you’re on your computer and all…..

Someone, I have NO clue who this time, bought……

Our travel system!!!!

I had to go wake Jake up when I saw that. He said it made him want to take my clothes off, lol…..silly man.

Seriously, though. We actually had two of ’em on there, because we couldn’t decide which one we really wanted….they’re the exact same system, just different contrast coloring (They’re both black, but the other one has maroon trim). We liked the blue one better, but the red one is $10 cheaper for some reason….

And whoever loves us bought us the more expensive one, the one we really wanted!!!

Apparently, someone really loves us. Can’t wait to find out who, because I will be forever grateful to them!!!

So, if it was one of y’all…..thanks in advance!!!!

 

 

This week is only a couple of days old, but it feels like it’s dragging!!

I was going to go have my hair done this morning, but I didn’t get to bed till way late, and therefore, didn’t wake up until way late. Eh, there’s always tomorrow.

I can’t wait for Jake to get home. I’m going to drag him up to Lowe’s Motor Speedway….some of the guys are doing testing out there, and we can go watch. I don’t even know who’s testing, but I don’t care – I’ll take every opportunity I can to visit a track and see some cars zooming along! Plus, it’s free!

I got some very nice packages yesterday full of baby stuff! I’ll have to take some pictures later of everything we’ve bought/received so far.

I also got the pack n play today!! It’s still in the box, in my car, because while I felt ok carrying it out of the office to my car (I JUST missed the delivery guy ’cause I couldn’t find my keys so I could unlock the back door), I didn’t think it’d be such a good idea for me to carry it all the way to the house. But, here’s a stock photo of it….

For my newer readers that may not yet be acquainted with my cats, here’s some info. The black and white one is Riley, he’s just a regular ol’ domestic cat. We adopted him in December 2003 when he was 2 months old.

Our other kitty is Kasey, named after our favorite NASCAR driver. I’ve got a couple of notes about this, so let me clarify: He is NOT a Maine Coon! Naw, Kasey’s just a brown tabby. He LOOKS fat, but he’s just extremely fluffy. He weighs less than a 2-3 month old baby does! Anyway, we adopted Kasey in April 2004, he was also 2 months old at the time.

These guys have been our babies for over two years now….boy, are they in for a rude awakening come September!! I’m a little nervous, because they didn’t handle it well when we tried to get a new kitten, and they don’t deal well with our nephew, either…..hopefully, they’ll adjust better to Noah, because I’d hate to get rid of them!

As a note….I’ve now had to drape a blanket over the back of the couch because they shed so darn much….it’s much easier to toss a blanket in the wash than it is to clean the hair off of the cushions!!! But that’s their favorite spot to lay now, so….
