Registries *

So, Jake and I went and registered for lots and lots of things for Noah today……yes, I said Noah. For whatever reason, he LOVES that name, so…..fine. It’s certainly growing on me. And I get to keep Jacob as baby boy’s middle name. AND I get the final say as far as our next child’s name goes.

Jake says the amount of stuff on our registries makes us look greedy…..but the way I see it, some people live closer to one store than another, so why not give folks a variety of items to choose from, if they’re so inclined to buy things for baby boy?

We’re registered at Wal Mart, Target, and Babies R Us. Most of you have the necessary information to look up our registries, but if you don’t, or aren’t sure, let me know. I may need to go back to Babies R Us….When I looked at the registry online, it was all kinds of screwed up. Like, I KNOW everything I scanned was little boy stuff, but some of the stuff online was showing up as PINK. Uh….I wish!!! lol…..seriously though. And for some reason, it’s trying to tell me that 41 items have been purchased already, although none of that stuff was anything I registered for, and hello, I just created the thing today, and you guys are the first to know the info!! *sigh*…..

Another note regarding the Babies R Us registry….a few things got scanned multiple times because the scanner was being weird. But there’s nothing on that registry that I actually want multiples of, so disregard anything where it says I’m requesting more than one, ’cause I’m not really!!

Ha. They gave me a bunch of baby shower invitations. Yeah, I’m really going to be having a shower, seeing as how I DON’T KNOW ANYONE OUT HERE!!!! That’s the sucky thing about moving and stuff…..I don’t have one single local friend. But hey, if anyone else wants to throw me a shower, be my guest!! lol….

Another note: There’s some expensive stuff on these registries. Obviously, we don’t expect anyone to actually purchase those items for us. I did that so that WE could remember which ones we wanted of certain things. There’s also multiple strollers and pack n plays….one of each from Target, and the rest are from Babies R Us…..we couldn’t decide which one of each we liked best! We’ll have to sit down tomorrow and check that out again.

Um…..I think that covers everything. I’m too lazy right now to double check it all.

Ok….I just went through the Babies R Us registry….I edited it so that no more than one of each item should show up. I deleted a few things that I decided I didn’t want after all, and then deleted a bunch of stuff that I didn’t even put on there….hmph.

And now 42 items have somehow been purchased for me. This is just…..weird. Supposedly, someone’s bought me a pack n play…..yeah right! I WISH we had some sort of fairy godmother or something that would buy all of that expensive stuff for us…….
