busy busy

 

I’ve been going to the gym with Jess for 2 days now. Yesterday we did the treadmill and the eliptical for about 1.5 hours and today we went to a spin class and a kickboxing class. OMG… spin class kicked my ASS! My legs are killing me! But on the bright side of that it means that my legs got a really good workout. I weighed myself today…. 7 pounds less then the start of this deployment! Sweet! I have 5 days left on the pass from Jess and then I’m going to have to join the gym lol. I’m going to wait until after I get back from Jersey but then I’m joining the gym and going 4 times a week. I would go 5 but Nicholai and I have Kindermusik on Wednesdays so I can’t fit the gym and Kindermusik in and I don’t want to drag Nicholai out after his nap… I like the gym being a morning thing.

I’ve been studying my Magicka school course on a regular basis. I have the quiz coming up which I’m kinda nervous about but I got into a mentor group that is really involved. She has her own section on the forum just for her group and I’m so excited about it. She gives us each our own online BOS and we can write anything that we want in there… and she will look it over and if there are questions she will answer them. It’s really nice.

Nicholai is still struggling to sleep through the night. Last night was a great night, but I don’t know if that will last. I knew that he would eventually have issues with Chris being gone… guess it just took a little longer to kick in. I think Nicholai misses Chris and I being close. We have a daddy doll that has Chris’s picture in the face so that it’s kinda like Nicholai being with Daddy. I was singing to him and dancing around the room with Nicholai and the daddy doll and he takes the doll and puts it up to my face so I can kiss Chris’s picture. He did it about 10 times before he gave the doll a hug himself…. breaks me heart. I know Nicholai misses his daddy.

I can’t believe that it’s already Wednesday. Came up fast. 13 more days til Jersey! Less then 2 weeks! I can’t believe it. I hope that September and October go by this fast. Not like we are that far into August, but still…. I don’t know how it got to be Wednesday already.

I actually had a 30min phone call with Chris yesterday! It was so awesome to hear his voice. He sounds different and I don’t know if it’s just the phone or if he it’s him, he sounds more serious. Weird. I also got to see him for about 3min on Skype before his crappy internet their dropped the video call. *sigh* I will take 3 min of seeing his face. 3 min is better then none.

Ok enough of this… back to Magicka School studies
