I can’t believe how fast time flies… Nicholai is 6 months old already. Where did all the time go? What happened to the tiny little thing I brought home from the hospital? Here are some new pictures of my sweetie boy

His 6 month well appt is tomorrow. I’m curious to know how much he weighs now because he feels a lot heavier to me then he did a couple weeks ago. After tomorrow we are going to start him on baby food. I’m wondering if getting something more substantial in his tummy will help him sleep. He sleeps through the night on occasion but like last night he went to bed at 10:30 and woke up at midnight, 2:45am, 3:47am, 5:30am and 6:45am. I don’t know what to do to help him sleep through the night. He gets cereal at night and that doesn’t seem to help so it’s something to bring up to his ped. tomorrow. He is sitting up and I can tell that he wants to crawl but he just doesn’t have the arm strength down.

Chris was told that it looks like he is going to deploy before Nicholai’s first birthday. He is going to miss it by just about a month  It’s hard to know that. I was really hoping that he would get to be here for that. Looks like I’m going to have to record it and send him the video of it.

I can’t believe that in 6 more months Nicholai will in a year old and in about 4 months Chris is going to be deployed… that’s crazy to think about.

*sigh* Army life

Molly and Justin PCSd yesterday and started their drive to Cali. I have no idea when we are going to see them again but we did get to hang out with them for a short time before they left. It’s crazy that they are gone… I can’t believe it. The Army is changing our lives a lot this year. This is the first time I’ve had the Army take a friend away… and you know what… it sucks. But thankfully I have been making some new friends out here so I won’t go insane all alone once Chris deploys.

I’ve been working hard at getting rid of the baby weight. I’m finally…. for the first time in almost a year… under 160 pounds!!!! I want to be back at 135 so I still have a little over 20 pounds to lose. Right now my goal is to get to 140 and then work at getting rid of those last 5 pounds. I’d love to get there by Christmas, but I don’t know how possible that is. I would also love for Chris to get to enjoy my body but once he gets back from his deployment we are talking about trying for baby #2 so I don’t know how much of that pre-prego body he will get to enjoy lol.
