ticking and tocking (pics included)

Well well well…. guess who is STILL pregnant? If you guessed me… you win a cookie because I am still pregnant. 38 weeks and 1 day and I am so ready to have this baby! I feel like a planet! I keep waiting for the contractions to start and every day goes by and nothing happens and I am so frustrated lol. The girl from my forum who was due the day before me, she just had her baby yesterday. And I’m still pregnant. And its 101 today and with the humidity it feels like 105+ and it is way too hot to be this pregnant. Sleeping is impossible, I feel uncomfortable no matter how I am sitting, I am tired all the time but I can’t get much sleep, I have to pee every 5 seconds it seems like…. yeah… I’m ready. So send me some labor dust please because having this little one inside me still is driving me nuts and I want this little one evicted!

And incase you all were wondering what a planet prego belly looks like…..

That is my 37 week belly so I am even bigger then that now. The OB said that the baby had dropped a decent amount but still no contractions. I go back on the 13th, but honestly I’m hoping that I go into labor before that. This is definitely hubby and my’s baby… stubborn til the end. What you see in the background of those pics is the nursery. I have some other pics of it…

I think it turned out beautiful! And that last pic is of a sign that I designed and Chris and I made together. It hangs right over the crib. Now all I need is the baby to put in there.

Oh and my list….

  • monitor
  • first aid kit
  • body wash
  • shampoo
  • baby oil
  • alcohol swabs
  • diaper ointment
  • vaseline
  • newborn diapers
  • wipes container
  • travel wipes
  • sunshade for other side of the car
  • swing
  • bouncy chair
  • tummy time mat
  • pack n play
  • crib
  • changing table
  • dresser
  • crib mattress
  • mattress pads
  • mattress cover
  • fitted crib sheets
  • changing table pad
  • basket/storage bins
  • books
  • toys (like rattles and such)
  • nursing bras
  • nursing shirts
  • disposable nursing pads
  • breast cream
  • boppy with couple covers
  • <

span>breastfeeding shawl

  • bottles
  •  bottle brush
  • So we are pretty much covered. We are waiting on the monitor since the baby is going to be sleeping in our room for a while and those last couple things we are picking up since the stuff on our registry is now on sale because its 2 weeks before my due date and I think we are going to wait til this weekend to go pick them up since hubs gets paid on Thursday. We also found out that he didn’t get Bravo company… he got Charlie company which means that there is a very good possibility he will deploy in January. Not what I wanted but he would have a lot more time with the baby and we would get to celebrate the holidays together. But that deployment is up in the air… he may leave sooner, he may leave later… I don’t know what to expect with that now. But no matter what happens I will take it, I don’t have a choice, but I’m ready.

I even went to meet up with one of the organizers of a Mommy and Me play group. I am determined to not just sit around, especially since Molly got the official orders from Justin and they are leaving in the beginning of February and Molly is one of my best friends here. It sucks to see her go, but as is with life in the Army, but I want to have other people to hang out with so I am looking at groups I can join so I can meet other people. It’s important that I keep busy once Chris deploys and getting to know other people to hang out with is a great start. I refuse to just sit at home and be lonely and depressed when he deploys… so I’m doing what I can now.

And I have to start looking into healthy foods… because I want to get on a healthy diet once the baby is born. I know that I won’t drop the baby weight right away and I will need to hit the gym and eat right and enough since I plan on breastfeeding and will need extra calories. And I know that I will be too sore to hit the gym right away so I figured eating healthy is a good way to jump start getting my pre-prego body back. Gotta do healthy recipie research lol.

Ok.. enough babble… I will post more later… hopefully about me going into labor and heaing to the hospital lol.

photobucket… don’t be afraid, sometimes they come true! photobucket… music is my life

Your nursery is sooo nice. I love it. Good job! Your baby will be here before you know it. I should take my adive though. Cuz i can’t wait any longer!!! Its so hard to wait when you have No control! lol

How exciting. Is this your first baby? The nursery is very cute. Fingers crossed that you get to meet the little one sooner, rather than later!

    Your nursery is adorable!

Random Reader: I think the nursery is beautiful, I love the Shh wall decor 🙂 & judging by your entry you’re going to be a wonderful mother. I know how you feel but I have 4 kids, & my only advice for you right now is GET SOME REST!! Good luck!

Beautiful nursery! What a luck baby!

From that belly, I am totally saying boy.

    August 10, 2009

    the nursery is soo nice!

RYN: I know all that, but I don’t get dizzy sitting or standing up. I’ll just be sitting on the couch. I’m gonna talk to my OB at my next appt and see what he says.

Its just getting frustrating cause it didn’t happen with the other 2, I’m smaller now than I was then, and its getting dangerous. It happens when I’m going 70 mph on the highway! Just out of the blue. Its just interferring with my daily everything…oh well, we shall see
