april is almost over

 I can’t believe how fast April is coming to an end. It feels like it just started and here we are, halfway through the month, 1 week til we leave for Jersey, 28 days til we move to the new place…. time is just flying!

J’s mother has been here the past couple of days. I left work at noon today which was great. I got so much done around the house! Kitchen totally clean, dining room table cleared off, living room clean, bathroom cleaned, some boxes packed for the move. It took about 4 hours and 4 black bags full of trash but I got all the cleaning done that I wanted to today. I should be getting off just as early tomorrow so I will do more packing and cleaning. Molly is coming over to meet the furbabies since she is going to be watching them while we are in Jersey so I wanted to make sure the place was really clean. I still have more to do but if I get off work early tomorrow and Friday I should be able to get a lot more done.

I am so excited about going to Jersey. I can’t wait to see my family, feels like forever since I’ve seen them. I miss them, its hard being so far away sometimes. If Chris does deploy in October I look forward to spending a month in Jersey with them. It will pass a lot of time quickly and it will be nice to be surrounded by family when he is gone. The baby shower should be fun… soooo super excited! We have just about nothing for the baby so far. We have 3 homecoming outfits, some hangers and 2 sample bottles and thats it. We did just buy the bedding set. Its the set that we wanted and were afraid we weren’t going to be able to get since BRU was discontinuing it. Heres a pic of the whole set.

Hubby had been looking for this on ebay forever and finally found someone that had the whole entire set so we don’t have to worry about picking it up piece by piece which was how we originally thought we were going to have to get it. It cost us around $300 including the shipping so we made out great! I’m so glad to have this set. If we have a boy its perfect and if we have a girl I have some ways of making it more girlie lol. But I just think its adorable so this is the biggest thing that we have for the baby so far. I can’t wait to move so we can start putting the nursery together!

Plus side of this week… I got my taxes done!!!! I have been waiting for my last W2 to get here and I just got it last week, about damn time I know. I went on post to get my taxes done… OMG the wait was insane! I sat around for almost 5 hours waiting. And I was too worried to go pee since I had to pee before I even got there, but they said if they call your name 3 times and you don’t answer they shred your paperwork. And I would have no idea…. so I waiting about 3 1/2 hours for hubby to get off of work so that I could pee. I’m getting almost a grand back…. the most I have ever gotten back! And its a good thing because with this moving coming up we need the money.

Things are going smoothly with the little nudger. I am feeling a lot better, not 100% yet but getting there, so I stopped taking the cold medicine and the little nudger has been moving around a lot more. Hubby still hasn’t felt the baby move again since that first time, but I know that the moving is going to be harder so I know he will feel the baby move again soon. But geez has the little one been nudger the hell out of me during the day. I will be 22 weeks this Sunday… which means 18 left… I can’t believe how fast its going now. I thought it would never end those first 3 months but now time is flying by. We have our hospital tour in May, birthing classes start June 1st… everything is happening so fast. I just hope that we are ready for when the baby gets here. I feel like there is so much left to do. I still can’t believe that I’m going to be a mommy in 4 months! In 4 months there will be a little life in our hands, we will be everything to this baby…. and it scares me sometimes, but only because I really want to be a good mom. I hope that I’m a good mom.
