its going to be a busy month

Well hubby just told me to go ahead and upgrade to OD Lifetime. So here I am, a Lifetime member of OD. And in the long run it saves me so much money. I mean, I pay $24 a year and I have been on here for 6 years or sometime like that and I plan on being on here for as long as this site is running so the $100 was a good investment.

There is a chance that we are moving. Yay… more packing of boxes lol. But with the baby on the way we need the space. I have been thinking about moving for a while. I have been trying to weigh the pros and cons for a while now… lets see….

Pros 

• The bedrooms are bigger
• There is a pantry in the kitchen
• There is storage space outside
• There is a garbage disposal
• There is a seperate space for the dining room
• There is a deck and patio
• There is a outdoor nature walk around a lake
• There is a clubhouse
• We would have a lot more space for decorating and wouldn’t be as cramped as we are now
• I would know someone who lives at our complex
• I would be closer to Target (always a plus)
• We would be closer to Besy Buy and Game Stop
• One of the places has tennis courts and a jacuzzi
• There is a chance we would be able to get a 3rd floor
• It is a lot more likely that we will get sunshine into our place
•  

• Most importantly: more room for our little one on the way

Cons

• Its going to be expensive
• Its going to be busy, trying to move close to the due date
• We are going to have to hire movers
• Organizing a new house is going to take time
• We have to go through the whole lease process again
• We have to organize getting out of this place and moving into the new place
• We would be farther away from post
• more utilities to pay for

Thats all I have in the way of cons. And I think it would be nice to pick a new place. Chris lived here with his ex wife back when they were still together and he had a stepson. I see this move as a good thing, a new start and what better time to start a new chapter in our life then with our first baby on the way. I’m just hoping that it all works out! I would love to get out of this place, it was a great starting apartment, but with our family on the way and us needing more space and not having any baby stuff yet, I think it would be easier to do the move now then later. We are putting the application in tomorrow and hopefully we get approved. *fingers crossed*

Here is our current floorplan minus the utility room since ours is a handicap access apartment and minus the pantry… I guess handicaped people can’t use pantries? Hmmm

As you can see they all have more space then where we are now and have a better layout… more homelike then apartment like.
