the news that you all have been waiting for

As if you couldn’t tell by the graphic at the right…. or the ticker at the bottom… Chris and I are pregnant! After all that trying and all that stressing and all the worrying… its here finally. A little kidney bean in my belly. I’m so excited!!!!!

I found out on the 16th of December after missing my period on Sunday. I decided that I couldn’t wait anymore and took a test that showed a faint positive. I didn’t want to get to excited so I wanted again until I was over a week late and took another test. This time it was a definite positive +. We waited to tell our families until after the holidays because I didn’t want to overshawdow anyone’s Christmas. So after all the gifts were open we said that we have one more gift for everyone and I pulled out the test and said we are pregnant and my family flipped lol. Allison is super excited about being an aunt.

So we had our first ob/gyn appt today. We are 7 weeks and 4 days. Due date: August 23 which is the day after my 25th birthday. What a birthday present. Dr and ultrasound tech said that everything looks great and is where it should be. Chance of miscarriage is down to 3-5% because…… there is already a strong heartbeat and we were able to hear it today. It was amazing! OMG I’m so happy.

So now you all know why I have been feeling so gross the past couple weeks. I can’t wait for March to come so the morning sickness will be over.

I have to run… girls night tonight, but I wanted to leave you with the ultrasound pics!

Aww congrats! Tell baby to come just a little bit late- August 25th. Because that’s my birthday and it happens to be the best day for birthdays ever… I’ve done research on the fact… Ok not really, it’s just a cool day. I’m excited for you!!

congrats! i’m expecting my son any day now. pregnancy and all that is a VERY exciting time. keep us posted! i’m noticing everyone is getting pregnant right now, on OD and in real life. it must be a baby boom or something. lol

so due to not being on here in forever (i was here all the time in 07 and 08 was just a very crazy year so i was never here) i went back trying to find the start of everything that’s happening with you now…and i’m guessing it’s in 07 somewhere. i use to read you all the time and now i’m missing a big spot, can you help me out with that or no?

hey where in NC are you guys at? I’m guessing you are stationed there for Chris’ army stuff? my finace’s cousin just finished up his station in NC.

I had a feeling. Congratulations to both of you!! Baby is due the day after your bday and 3 days before mine. Your due date is going to stick in my head now hehe.
