NoJoMo day 11 challenge

Challenge: We write about ourselves in our diaries every day (especially in November, lol), but can you do it without using "I"? Either write your entry in third person, or find a creative way to write your entry without referring to yourself, maybe in the form of a chapter from a novel?

She woke up in the arms of her one true love, a normal everyday occurance but with the impending deployment it was something that she liked to pay attention to. A long day lay ahead of her.

She spent time with her husband, showered and went with him to get his hair cut. She was shocked at his outburst on the way to the barber, upset about the financial state they were in at the moment. In frustration he pounded the steering wheel with his fist, something she was no used to seeing and so the tension between them grew.

Upon arriving back home he went to change. He had a practice to go to. She was not at all happy about it and decided that she wasn’t going to go. He left so she decided to be productive and take a shower.

She saw that Juno was playing on OnDemand so she rented it and started watching it in order to pass the time. As she is watching she gets a phone call.

"What are you doing?"

"Watching a movie."

"Oh, well what are you wearing?"

"Huh," she said, surprised at the question.

"What are you wearing?"

"The same clothes from this morning, why?"

"You mean the ones with the holes in them?"

"Yes, why?"

"Go change, we are going out."

Knowing the state of their finances she says, "We can’t afford that."

This with sincerity in his voice he replies, "Please."

So she gets up to change into something else. He comes home and after using her laptop for something, they get into the car and drive to Applebee’s. They order and talk and the tension that was between them begins to melt away. They laugh and have a great time and then he surprises her buy telling her they have movie tickets to see Madagascar 2.

It was the perfect ending to a not so perfect day.
