we will NEVER forget

Today marks 6 years since the horrible attack on the Twin Towers, all those lives were lost and our country was forever changed. This is why my boyfriend is so far away… this is the reason why our military is fighting. So today I ask that we all please put aside any negative feelings that there are. Today is a day of rememberance, a day to pull together and remember the lives that were lost and the country that pulled together around this tragedy. You may not agree with the war, because to a point I don’t either… you may not like or ever agree with Bush, I certainly don’t, and you may have negative feelings toward our military fighting this war… but today… put all that aside and just remember.

Remember that because of this tragedy our military families are suffereing and spend each and everyday waiting for their loved ones to come home. Our military is over there fighting for us and it is important that we respect them and know that they may not agree with this war either, but that it is where Bush decided to take our country and so our brave heros.. the men and women of the military… have no choice but to follow the mission.

Rob…. you are my hero. You are my life and my world and I miss you so much everyday. I can’t wait for the day that I can see you again, I can’t wait to be able to be in your arms once again… to have you here with me. I am so proud of you for doing what you do, for protecting us, our future, and our country.  

Please remember that we all suffered together.. we lost, learned, bonded, and most importantly.. we learned or should have learned to love our country and the brave men and women that fight for it. This is our America and we must always remember those who have died for or because of it.
