and June is coming to an end…. finally

Thankfully June is over tomorrow. I have so much to do so that I can be ready for the parade on Wednesday. I tried to drop off my shirt today but the place was closed. Hopefully it is open tomorrow, and since I am getting my hair done tomorrow I will stop by and see if I can drop it off really quick.

Ahh… I slept for a whole 3 hours last night, but I didn’t dream. Atleast not that I remember. This job is going to be really tiring… I can already tell. I am so glad that I don’t have work tomorrow. And next week I only have to work Monday and Tuesday, since Shawnique is taking the rest of the week off. It will be nice to be able to sleep. Not like I can, but it will be nice to have some hours to try.

I wrote my really close friend, David, a letter today. I am going to mail it tomorrow and I think that I am going to write Rob a letter tonight. And another one on the 4th. I have to be sure to take a lot of pictures… and I really hope that I can get the shirt done in time. I’m really worried because the 4th is only 5 days away…. and if he isn’t there all weekend its going to be hard for me to get there with work and everything.

Only a week left… and then we are 3 months in to this deployment. I feel like these 3 months have been crawling by. It feels like it should be more… 5 or 6 atleast, but no… only 3. Atleast soon I can start saying that he will be home in a year. And I know that we can make it…. I have never had faith in love like I do in ours. I was talking to my friend last night. Matt called! He is on his way home soon. He is in the Navy and on his way here from Texas. I am really excited about seeing him. He was asking me all about Rob and how we met and how we are together and everything. I love telling the story about how him and I got together. Every time I think back I get butterflies in my stomach. Rob always gives me that feeling, even just thinking about him or talking about him. Everyone says that… my face lights up. I know it… I’m in love and so proud of it!
