something to be excited about

I am so excited right now. I finally sat down and bought the shirt that I want to wear for the 4th of July parade that I am going to be in with Amanda!!! I am so excited. And I couldn’t help it… I bought something else that I will use for school when the fall semester starts up again. So here are the two things that I got.

The journal I just couldn’t resist… I fell in love with the cover the second that I saw it. Since I love to write random thoughts down while I am sitting in class not paying attention I figured I would get this. It was only $9.49 which isn’t bad at all and it has 160 pages in it! The shirt (just in case you can’t read it) says "My boyfriend is a SOLDIER serving his country in IRAQ and I miss him everyday!" I figured that I would get a picture of him and me airbrushed on the back with something written along the bottom.. maybe Army love strong… HOOAH! I don’t know yet. The shirt was $16.99 so that wasn’t bad either and shipping was only $5.00 and it should be at my house by Wednesday! I am so excited about my order!!!!  Now all I have to do is pick the picture that I want and the words I want on the back. I wanted to see if the person (once I find one) could airbrush the picture of Rob and me with a flag over the whole back… I really have to go find someone once the shirt gets here. I knew of one who was at the mall…. but since the mall has fallen on hard times he isn’t there anymore so I don’t know what to do about that now. I can’t believe that the 4th of July is only about 2 1/2 weeks away… thats crazy! I have so much to do before it gets here… HA look at me wishing time was moving slower. I must be crazy.

So… today is Sunday which means my favorite show Army Wives comes on! I am so in love with that show. It makes me cry, it makes me smile, it makes me laugh, watching that show makes me feel so much less alone!

Roxy and Trevor are the couple that I identify most with. They met 4 days before they got married and now she lives on bas with him. By the second episode Trevor had orders to be deployed… it figures. Its a sign lol!

The show is amazing! I am so excited when 10pm rolls around and I sit in my bed with my picture that Rob just sent me and my box of tissues and my junk food and watch Army Wives for an hour! It is the perfect way to end my week and start the next one. Watching that show seems to have made the time go by so much faster!
