You know what is funny? A knock knock joke!

Ashley is resting her head on my belly, chewing on a frozen teething ring (for the coolness) and watchinv tv. It is hot again today. Stupid summer. We went outside for a little walk straight after breakfast and it was already icky. We went to the grassy section by the post office and the grass was wet and it was lovely. Ashley saw lots of motorcycles and funky cars and people walking. She learned the word ‘car’ yesterday so she had many opportunities to use it.

After that walk, we went to the restaurant to see Barb (and Jake and everyone else). Ashley gave Barb a rock she had found. Barb was so happy, it was quite cute. Then we left the hot kitchen and went to the store to learn about fruits and vegetables.

Yesterday afternoon I prepped veggies and seasonings for all our meals for the next week. We have chopped chicken in bags of a pound each in the freezer so food should be easy. It is nice when effort isn’t needed during the week. I’m lazy.
