What would you like to do? Math!

Seems I was wrong about Ash cutting back to one nap. I’m sure if I wanted to I could mold her into a one nap schedule but I don’t care that much.

I wish it would be above freezing on the weekend. I have so many things to do and places to go so we can restock the apartment (peril of going away for 6 weeks, we use up our stashes before we go) but I don’t like traveling far on potentially frozen roads. Even if I could go without a moosh somehow.

I felt kinda super this afternoon/evening (prevening). I made dinner and did our taxes at the same time! I don’t often do things non-baby so getting 2 at once was great. Had a productive lunch break too, went to the bank (another peril of such a long vacation, no paychecks! So we were almost overdrawn), swept and chopped for dinner. I was so pleased with our tax refund. Babies really boost the amount! We are getting 10 times more than we got last year, or 30% of our annual income. That is just… amazing. I wish we were allowed a savings account. A good portion (maybe half?) will go in Ashley’s college fund. The rest can just be socked away for a cushion so we don’t get overdrawn next winter (stupid expensive oil).

I keep being wide awake until the parking lot lights go off at 11. I look forward to spend the time between Ash’s bedtime and mine snuggled on the couch with my DS playing pokemon. Until she remembers she is ok without touching me while she sleeps, I’ll spend that time doing nothing much exciting on my phone. Last night I wrote on my phone’s notepad about how much I love Ashley, and then a list of all the random things about her that I adore. It was long.

Title: Ash was being fussy and couldn’t make up her mind what to do, so I asked her if she could do ANYTHING, what would she do. I heard math, Jake heard meth. Hope she said math! One day, if she is like her parents, she’ll answer math, and mean it.

Why can’t you have a savings account?

Why aren’t you allowed to have a savings account? :/ Hah, I hope she said math too!

Hehehehe Prevening!! “It’s a time of day I invented. It better defines the ambiguous period between afternoon and evening, prevening. I’m fairly certain it will catch on as it fills a desperate need.” Have a great day!

Math, it was Math I am sure of it! There is not enough words or data for me to list all the things I love about Ashley

ryn: I figured it was something like that. Stinks. Can Ashley have a savings account?
