Laughing seal

Ashley is healthy again. Mum and Natey both are icky now (Mum may have been hiding it for a while, Natey woke up sick today) but only Mum can blame me for getting sick. Natey put Ashley’s pacifier in his mouth, so it is his own fault!
I’m mostly healthy. I have a stupid cough, and my laugh at the moment is hilarious f***ed up. I woke Dad up yesterday because I was laughing and he had absolutely no clue what that weird noise was. It isn’t as weird today, but it is still crazy. It makes Mum laugh when I laugh, which makes me laugh more… contagious.
Kristen got engaged! When we did Thanksgiving, Matt had said it would be a while because he was still working on saving up for the ring she wanted. Hopefully the surprise worked.
We are doing a secret santa thing with the other ‘kids’ of the american family. Kristen organised it on this website so it is a secret to all of us, and we can put wishlists on there and stuff like that. So Jake and I did our wishlists. But now we have to wait for our picks to make their lists! They need to stop being slack so we can go shopping. I don’t know what we’ll get if we don’t get ideas. My list was a bit vague (you can pick actual items or just write whatever on your wishlist, and I did the latter) but even that would be better than nothing. I know we still have weeks to go but still.
I have to go try and move Ashley into her portacot so Jake can go to bed so Dad can feel comfortable telling me when he wants to go to bed, rather than get grumpy because we are keeping him up (when in reality he is just being polite, even though I told him not to). I hope Ash will go to her bed. We put her in there this afternoon to just sit and get used to the whole thing and I really hope that worked. She did not cry once, not even when she tried to stand up and fell backwards, instead she just lay there and made a quick noise so I would come in the room and get her. (Yeah, we left her alone for a bit in there and she was good! I hope that is a good sign!)
