Descent
All the snow from the other day is gone. GONE! So sad.
Ashy and I made a sweet potato pie today. Just the one. Normally I make 2, but Lisa didn’t want her individual one so I stuck to one. So it was a REALLY FULL one, because I obviously have no idea what I’m doing (normally 2 are slightly underfilled, and this was less mix but… ugh)
We had to go to the store at one point, so I strapped her to me so I could be awesome and get many things: gallon of milk, 2 dozen eggs, an apple. I felt pretty awesome managing to get that all off shelves and into our home with a 21lb baby. (I am guessing at Ash’s weight, we’ll find out next Wed what she actually is because I’m too lazy to weigh her)
The cashier weirded me out though. In a good way. He reminded me SO MUCH of a guy I went to school with, both in looks and in personality. That store is weird, it attracts people that really mess with Jake’s and my mind. There is a girl there who looks just like the diarist temmahkrik. I find it weird that there are now two people that remind us of people. So weird for such a small town store.
Ashley had long nails the other day and scratched my nose. It looks like I have a subtle, red nose ring. I keep forgetting it is there and then I see it in the mirror and get surprised.
The good part of Ashley’s clinginess today is that she accepts and wants her Dad as well, so it isn’t all on me. Yay.
I hate that Bed Bath & Beyond won’t ship to a PO Box. I found things I want for Christmas and would’ve got them but… ah well.
Oh that stinks! I wonder if you can borrow a friend’s address for that?

That reminded me, I have a 20% off coupon for bed bath & beyond! <3

Mmm… pie. Which school person does cashier-guy resemble? NoNoMo update: I wish NoNoMo stood for, No, No More essays, but it wont stand for that until Monday. I have written 400 of my final 4000 words… If only I knew what I actually wanted to talk about!

Ugh, I live in a town with just PO Boxes now (and a lot of the non-Canada Post delivery companies don’t come here on a regular basis), and I forgot how impossible it is to online shop! Probably a good thing………. That would be weird to see people at the store who look like others 😀 My husband and I saw someone we thought we knew working at a fast food restaurant.. and we stared at him forEVER – looked like him, laughed like him, smiled like him – had obnoxious earrings and spikey hair like him……. then Jeff went up there to get a refill, and came back, and he was like “Nope! Not him!” – could have SWORN! Of course, you’d think you’d know your friend works at a fast food place! Was kind of wondering if him and his wife were embarrassed though for a minute…

Will they ship to the diner? Not too far to go to collect the parcel. Well done shopping with Ashley. Who did the guy look like? Cousin Pam said that she worked near someone who looked like me, and even though she knew it wasn’t me she used to get confused. I also had kids at the first high school I worked at in this state who insisted that I had been their primary school teacher as well. They explained the different name by saying I had got married in between. So weird.
