Maybe I didn’t choose at all.

Ash can sit up without being propped in the corner of something! She’s not fully able to sit without anything around her, she still needs to hold my hand or have me ready to catch her at any moment, but this is something new. She started this… yesterday.

She loves reaching and grabbing for things. She’ll drop her ball and dive downwards to grab it off the floor, thankfully she does this when she’s on our lap so she doesn’t get hurt but man is it funny.

She had her third food – pears.

Because Ashley has finally realised that new toys are fun and not scary, she now enjoys her play table. It’s kinda cool to stand next to it and see how tiny she is when standing. It’s wonderful to have a toy she’s not bored with yet, and because she can turn herself around in it, she doesn’t get crazy sad when I go into the kitchen or something.

Jake was home on Wednesday, which was so lovely. It’s made this week feel like two small weeks. Ashley and I have barely been outside… well, she hasn’t been out since early Saturday morning, I’ve been outside twice since then, briefly.
