Our bacon system is different than yours

Did I tell you that Ashley can roll over now? She finally did it in a place where she didn’t have any gravitational help, so it counts. Yay!

I don’t think I showed you this awesome photo print we got in the mail the other day. I love looking on our bookshelf now, it has accidentally become a place of showing off some cute stuff, looking all decorative, when really it happened because it was a place to keep random stuff until I found them a place to live.

This weekend has rocked. After the disgusting heat from the week, it was nice to want to move around. Ashley napped in her crib for more than an hour on Saturday, so I cleaned the lounge room while Jake did the dishes and started on dinner. It was so very lovely. I cleaned more today, and now I like being in this room again. I straightened up the bedroom last weekend so hopefully this stays nice for a while. It’s so much easier to clean when I don’t also have to tidy.

We have this suction-cup car window thing to block the sun out of Ashy’s eyes when we travel. Stupid thing doesn’t stick anymore. We’ve only had it a few weeks. It fell off twice in the course of our quick grocery trip on Saturday, so I brought it up to wipe the cups and then cleaned the car window this afternoon and spent quite a few minutes making sure each cup was stuck on as tight as I could get it. I just checked, it is completely off again. Stupid bastard of a stupid thing. Sucks that we don’t have the box anymore, I’d totally return that lazy piece of non-working stuff.
