The high side of medium

Brunch tomorrow. I’d say breakfast, but I’ll have to eat while they cook, so… brunch it is. They’re so pretty! Except for the end ones, those look like… messes. But they probably taste awesome. Argh, I have to wait like… 12 hours before I can eat one. This is not fair. I’m impatient.

I didn’t do much today, other than play with the roll-making. I’ve never made anything with yeast before. It didn’t really behave right, but I think it may just be the type of yeast I used compared to the type the recipe called for (active dry instead of instant dry… the local store had no instant dry so I just made do). I got to use my awesome stand mixer, which was cool. It’s noisy in a way that doesn’t sound quite right, but I guess that’s what happens when you get things second-hand. It works well, and I could walk away while it kneaded the dough, which is just fantastic for this Lazy Sez.

Jake has tomorrow off, so we are just going to laze about and do nothing but eat tasty cinnamon rolls. Well… we’ll do more, and probably eat more varied, but for all intents and purposes…

I don’t quite know how or why, but my bra is really irritating my right arm, like it is trying to put it to sleep. Silly boobs growing.
