Jake is licking his face. That means he’s thinking

Oh man, I’m so sleepy.

Today Nick (Jake’s brother) brought over a changing table that Stacy (his wife) got from a coworker, I think. I wasn’t expecting much because it was free, but it’s rather cute! It STINKS though. Like baby powder or some other baby product, but ugh, so stinky. And it is right by my side of the bed, so that’s gonna be fun.

We also got a bag of cute clothes, the funniest being a pair of jeans for a newborn.

I made bbq chicken pizza for dinner. SO GOOD. The whole apartment smells like it. Except, of course, right next to the change table.

It’s so cool to have some baby furniture. It’s really obvious and such.

I don’t know why I’m so exhausted, I slept like a log last night.

Better go put the blankets on the bed. It turns the whole thing into a giant bucket of soft warm snuggliness when there is a soft blanket on top and underneath our sleeping bodies. So so lovely. Apparently there is going to be snow tonight, nothing that sticks but still… snow. Which means below freezing. Our apartment gets cold, but with the double blanket snuggly thing going on, we stay warm and don’ t need the heater on overnight. It’s pretty cool. Get it? heh.
