Autumnal Confusion

Did you know winter isn’t meant to start for another 2 months (according to the calendar in my bedroom, which I did print off the internet, so who knows how accurate it is)? I don’t think the weather knows what it is meant to be.

At 11:45, we walked into the mall. At 12, we walked out (all we needed was FOOD, a delicious shared footlong at Subway after a few hours in the boredom that is the laundromat) and there was snow! It was boring snow, looking like snow but landing like rain. But by the time we got to Costco, it was proper snow. Once out of Costco? The car was covered (lightly) and we got snowy rather quickly. It’s really really hard not to smile hugely when getting snowed on. I adore it so much.

So it has been snowing for about 10 hours now. We have about 4 inches of snow, but when I was last outside it was being rain-snow again so everything was turning slushy. At mid afternoon, the snow clumps were huuge and the car windows were so covered it was difficult to drive around to the other side of the building.

But words are not the reason I am writing now. Pictures are. Beautiful, snowy-autumn leaves.

Ok, so I know the last one isn’t leaves, but it cracks me up. Poor glowy pumpkin-witch got knocked over by the force of the snow! (This is what it looked like this afternoon)

Nice pictures. I live in Mass and we got a lot of snow and we currently have no power. Awesomeness!

Oh, I love those pictures!! Even if the weather is slightly confused, still. SNOW!

We may as well not have seasons in Ireland at all anymore, the weather doesn’t do what the calendar suggests it should do! The snow is pretty 🙂

Oh wow these are fabulous!!! Lee Mee xXx

Autumn snows are my favorite; I love the way that the flakes look all crowded on the colors ♥

We haven’t gotten snow yet, but my family out in NB did. It can stay away a little bit longer and I’ll be perfectly happy. 🙂

RYN: Thankfully, I don’t have a midwife. if I did have one and she asked me what I ate in the last 24 hours, I’d tell her that it was none of her business or make her tell me what -she- ate in the last 24 hours. There’s nothing wrong with burgers. You need both protein and carbs while you’re pregnant. You can’t live off of veggies and tofu, dammit. Well, you CAN, but it’s no fun.

Great pics, I’m 35 and still not seen snow! Did go to Tassie once in winter and didn’t snow until 2 days after we left … bahahahahaha

I loooove those autumn leaves with snow on them. Poor trees must be confused.
