Feeling “spam-gibbony”
Oh man, cheesy tomatoey pasta/bean soup with loads of basil… such an amazingly delicious and filling lunch.
Yesterday Jake and I had a little date-day. He wanted to see the new Transformers movie, so that’s what we did. We bought some cinnamon pretzel bites from a place at the mall (that I then hid in my bag) and then wandered through a few stores trying to find a cute blanket I remember seeing months ago (doesn’t seem to exist anymore) and trying to find me sandals without a heel, a bit between the toes, or a ankle strap. Also, does not exist. At least not in my size. Silly giant feet.
The movie started at 1:10, and after buying the tickets and a small sprite from the candy counter, it was 1:05. We were each standing in a seperate line, and both of us had really slow teen boys in front of us that kept paying and then deciding they wanted one more thing. I think the kid in front of me did that about 4 times. These same kids ended up sitting in the row directly in front of us in the cinema too. Made me feel like we were chaperoning them or something.
Movie was good. Cinema was freezing (extra so because outside was so uncomfortably hot) but that kept me from falling asleep after waking up so ridiculously early. I followed along better than I did when we saw the second one at the cinema, probably because on Saturday Jake watched the 1st and 2nd one. He’s cute like that. Overall, I enjoyed myself.
After the movie, we went to Chili’s for late lunch/early dinner. It was 4 o’clock, it was kind of both. We shared some fried mozzarella sticks and then he had ribs and I had yummy chicken club quesadillas. Which had loads of guacamole which surprisingly didn’t bother me like it usually would. I couldn’t eat all my food, but like always, Jake had a little space left in his belly, so he finished off my meal. I wish he was here right now, he could finish this soup. Bah.
I cannot wait until Thursday!
Title: Jake sleepily asked me if the fan was getting me. I misheard. And then spent ages thinking aloud about what spam-gibbony could mean. I don’t think I came up with anything good. It was pretty late.
That soup sounds delicious!! Glad you liked the movie 🙂

http://www.raftersfootwear.com/ These are good for giant feet (like mine)I didn’t even need to ‘break them on’ and they lasted well… until Huey ate them… They’re recycled too. I they have a ankle/heel strap but not the ones that go up your leg like I think you mean. http://summerbeachsandals.com/ecom/ProductDetail.php?id=4113 <the ones I think you’d like -Claire on Nateys puter

ryn: Thanks. At least she doesn’t have to suffer and be sick from all that anymore. Oh, oops. Yeah I was looking at comments yesterday and some said 60%. I guess for my plan it’s different. I’m not that great with percents can you tell? Hehe. I’m not sure what I’m going to do. What about you? Are you going to change plans? Don’t you have 3 DVDs out at a time or something? 🙂
