The Maggie of snoring.
I woke this morning to Jake putting the drawer back on my bedside table. I guess the cats completely removed it in the night. I have trouble removing those drawers, I have no idea how the cats managed that.
In other news, my Dad is here! Yay!
We left for the airport at 3:15. Got to the airport at 5:30, and as soon as we got to the place where passengers walk out, Dad was there. Very good timing. We sat and had a quick drink at Subway (I wanted a frappuccino at starbucks but their blender was broken) and then back on the road. We made it to the Whitestone bridge about an hour after we left the airport, but after that it was smooth sailing. I think in total I drove 5 hours yesterday afternoon. Really hurt my leg-joints.
Last night when Dad was asleep on the couch and Jake and I were trying to sleep in the other room, we kept laughing at the snoring we could hear. It sounded like there were so many different people snoring, rather amusing. Hence the Maggie of snoring. Maggie is 7 people.
Eats downstairs with Jake in about 2 hours. Mmm, delicious food. And then I think the only plans for the day are going over to the supermarket so Dad can buy some stuff. He’s lazy like me, so we won’t be doing too much, which is nice.
this has been an awesome time with your dad, even though it hasn’t even been a whole day yet. it’s so awesome to have him here. I love your family. *FOREVER-LOVE*

Fun! Yay for daddy! It’s weird, I can’t imagine just my dad visiting. It would be strained and kind of uncomfortable because we’re very different and not that close. My mom, on the other hand, visits by herself all the time and it’s most comfortable that way because we can do what we like without having to try and accommodate dad. I feel bad saying that, but it’s true. *shrug* ~jo<br>

Cats are diabolical. But, on the other hand, yay SezDad! You could start your own Twitter feed, Sh*t My DadSez Says. =) RYN: Thank you and Jake so much for contributing. I wish I could describe the change in her mood since this happened. It’s like an anchor she’s been dragging for months has suddenly vanished.
