Oh so full of always.
Natey is rather observant. He has noticed that there are pretty much 3 things that I am always craving: pizza, donuts, KFC. So my answer when asked if I want any of those is "always!", so they have become always food.
Today was a day of triple always.
Today I had to go to the post office (fun!) so I invited Natey to join Jake and I for lunch at the same place the post office is. He happily agreed to, which I was slightly surprised by because he was playing an online game with some buddies at the time. So yay, Natey-time!
We had KFC for lunch, because there is one at the top level food court and that makes me happy. Mmm, zinger burger of goodness. We ‘earned’ that by walking all the way to the post office which was pretty much in the opposite corner of the building to where we were. Bottom level and everything. Of course, right near it is Donut King, so we HAD to get donuts. Well, Natey kept pointing it out until I had to get donuts. Mmm. I wanted a dinosaur but instead we got a family pack because it meant we got 4 donuts each (assuming we didn’t share with anyone else… which we haven’t… I ate all mine, the boys only had 2 each. Unless Jake had 3, then he had 3.)
And then when mum came home she couldn’t think of anything for dinner, so Natey suggested pizza, knowing I would not disagree.
I love that I came here expecting to eat massive amounts of delicious ‘junk’ food, because otherwise I would get a huge shock when I go home and play on the wii fit and get told off for gaining weight. Stupid computer thinking it can tell me off like that… what does it know…
Tomorrow I have to go to Natey’s work and steal his car at about 8am. Although he knows I’m coming for it, and he GAVE me the spare key… but still, it’s more fun to think of it as stealing. Dad and I are taking it to the car-getting-checked-up place, which is awesome because it means I don’t have to go alone AND I don’t have to walk and catch a bus (or get a taxi home). Another good thing is, because I was being groomed as Hoj’s new owner before I moved to the US (it was Dad’s car, Natey bought it off of him a few years ago) I know exactly where we have to take it. Mmm, early morning excitement. Or something.
The car has to get checked out because we will be using it for a road trip next Monday. Which I am so looking forward to. Which is kind of weird for me, because I have never looked forward to the drive to Adelaide before, and we have done it many a time. It was fun that one year when we ‘discovered’ the big white pipe that runs for quite a while, but that lost it’s appeal very quickly. However, this year we are going with Natey and Claire, so there will be no parents. AND I will actually be allowed to drive for once (every year since I have been allowed to drive, we have gone in Mum’s car which I wasn’t an insured driver of and it was a school car so she is very protective of them) so that should relieve some boredom at some points. The plan, according to Natey, is to ‘leave early and stop more’ which I take to mean SNACKS and amusing pictures, especially of us all posing in front of a Jeep on a pole (which I have a magnet of on my fridge back home… yes I am that cool). Can’t think what else we will stop and see, besides the giant koala, but that may mean slight variations of the route. Or maybe it will be all new and exciting for Claire because she hasn’t done the drive 20-something times like I have (I think Natey is a few away from 20).
But either way, shall be fun. And once we are there, we aren’t staying at Nanna’s like we normally do, sleeping on the floor, getting stuck on the floor because it is so hard that your back freezes up, yet it is grossly hot because there is only an airconditioning box in the furthest room from the bedrooms. No, this year we shall we staying in a little apartment at a hotel, a 2 bedroom one that we will be sharing with Natey and Claire. It’s a good thing we all get along so fabulously, otherwise ther e would be a possibility of getting annoyed with one another. It’s way too hard for me to get annoyed with Natey, he’s like me, only he’s a dude. If I cut my hair really short and then glued bits of it patchily to my face, I would look like I AM Natey.
I feel like I am an on a rambling rampage, but I am going to stop because I think Jake wants the computer. Which means it is time for me to go play on the Wii. Natey bought the Goldeneye game the other day, it is fun but really such a bitch. I’ve done the first 3 levels and they have all been really hard. And, of course (as I always do), I am playing on the easiest setting. But then I can’t even do the 64 version on Secret Agent, how am I meant to be able to play the "grittier" version on anything but Operative? Still, fun. And as long as there isn’t someone sitting next to me, I can play quitely, which is good because Natey is sleeping in the room next door to the game-and-sleep room that we are currently filling with our mess. Or do I want to play Super Mario Galaxy? Yeah, I’ll do that, way easier, less likely for me to call the game a stupid whore. Those words only come up in Mario games when it is either Party or Kart, Peach is always a butt in those. It is a known fact. None of us ever play as her, and yet she is still annoying and such like it is one of us.
See? I’m never going to stop rambling. Stay classy, OD.
Oh man, how annoying is Peach?! ALWAYS in the way!

I’d better not get on the Wii. It would complain, pack its bags and leave town.

I am glad that I’m not the only one who calls video games names while playing. 😉
