Today, I drove. Unlike last time we came to visit (2 years ago) I didn’t have any issue remembering which side of the road I should be on. Possibly because I’m just used to driving on both sides of the road now. Or possibly because ever since we were here last, I’ve had issues remembering which side to be on (occasionally) at home. Or maybe I’m just awesome. I think that is probably the most likely of the 3.

We went to Northland. I had to drive because Natey has no idea how to get there. Same reason I drove for the first time last visit. I needed to go to the shopping centre so I could pick out a gift for my OD-KK (so fun to say it like that) and we had been to the even-more-local place the day before. Found nothing there, other than a giant hole in the ground, scary primary school kids surprising us with christmas carols, and that Natey is a little bitch. He decided to have KFC for lunch after I was full of other tasties, so I had to sit there and watch him eat. And he purposely took foreeeeeever to eat. Brothers are cruel sometimes.

All good though, because today I got my tasty KFC. And he bought me a bucket of fairy floss, which unfortunately tasted like doll-plastic, but that wasn’t his fault.

We wandered through the place, me getting creeped out by all the extra arms of the centre that weren’t there last time I was there. Sure, it was 2 years ago, but still… creepy. We all got new shoes (that we have given to mum so we can get them as christmas presents), Natey and I both got the presents we have been hunting for, a very successful trip. PLUS we found a place that sells churros, so we had those as a delicious fresh hot yummy lunch-dessert. Look how happy Natey is to have them.
