Not inclined to resign to maturity
For the first time all week, I got up after 7am today. Which was lovely.
Jake, Natey, Claire, Huey and I went to a river today. Walked around, watched Huey play in the water a lot, and generally had fun out in the sun. I actually got quite a few photos of Natey posing for photos, which is why I got Jake to get one of the two of us. We were standing on a hill, the height difference is not that great.
I am still dying from being outside. I am allergic to many things here. I’m pretty certain I have hayfever, as well as being allergic to animal hair and dust, so there is not many places I can go that don’t involve me feeling like stuffed up death. Especially on lovely hot days like today. That’s the only thing that makes living in the US way better than living here… I don’t have allergies there.
After the walk along the river, we walked back along the road so Huey could dry off and we could get icecream. I can’t remember the last time I had icecream in a cone. It was delightful. The icecream held us over just long enough so we could get to Nando’s for lunch. It feels like forever since we’ve had that deliciousness. Probably because it has, it was months ago that we finished off the bottle of Nando sauce that we were christmas-gifted 2 years ago by the lovely Claire. Great gift, very tasty.
On the way out we stopped at a supposedly "american candy" store, and yes it did have a few american tasties, but it was at least half aussie stuff. Which makes sense, but still.
Since we got home, we have watched many MANY hours of Psych. We were also repeatedly whipped by a very strong puppy-tail. And I got my eye and ear surprise-licked by that same puppy. It’s not smart to have your face level with his when he gets excited.
Tomorrow at about lunchtime we are going to a farmer’s market nearby, so hopefully that shall be nice. After that, who knows. Whatever we do, though, it will be awesome.
I need to shower, wash dog slobber and dirty river water off of me.
I wish I didnt have to live in England. It looks lovely where you are xxx

That river looks dangerously high. And fast-moving. I like the dude behind you two, sitting on the path in the sun getting a UV overdose.
