Oh Burly, you’re insatiable.

I’m not fond of writing entries in the morning about the day before. It feels weird to me. Maybe in a few days I will go back to evening entries. Or maybe I’ll just spend the whole month feeling confusing. That’s what I did when I went to visit Jake all those years ago, wrote entries every morning so they appeared at the same time every day for everyone else that hadn’t just shifted to a greatly different time zone.

Yesterday featured chip sandwich for lunch (Natey’s idea… not that it was hard to convince me!) using awesome chips covered in chicken salt. And then Jake’s favourite meal for dinner – curried sausages.

Natey and I made cookies. Oatmeal raisin choc chip. They turned out rather… almost gooey. Very very soft. Tasty too, which was good. Natey was an awesome assistant, grabbing things for me (I have forgotten where most things live in the kitchen) and putting away stuff once I was done. I think we made 27 cookies. I have no idea how many are left now. I should investigate, see if they are still yummy and soft.

We ‘earned’ the cookies by walking around the grocery store. So today we have to ‘earn’ our KFC dinner. It is Thursday, and Thursday has been KFC for as long as I can remember… well not really…. for as long as I could drive to KFC once Dad was home from work. Mum works late on Thursdays. Mmm… bucket. I don’t know how we are going to earn the bucket. My ideas were either a walk or to go to a playground. Natey suggested walking to a playground but… I can’t think of any good ones within walking distance. I should say… within a comfortable walking distance.

I was going to play Farmville this morning but I can’t work out how to turn on Natey’s computer. I should ask Dad if he could put flash on this computer as well, then I won’t be restricted. Mmm, choice. So for now, while Natey is at work being a baker-man for a few more hours, I’m going to go watch morning cartoons with my husband and sort through books that used to be on my bookshelf but are now in containers by the couch. All my old stuff is everywhere, I really need to organise it into stuff I really want to keep and stuff I don’t care if Mum tosses or donates. I wish we just lived nearby, it would be so much easier to just carry all my crap away from here rather than having it fill up space in the family home.

Title: I’m sure I’ve used that before. Simpsons quotes are good like that. I asked Jake for a title and he gave me random words from the tv that made no sense to me. So instead, Marge fantasising over an image of a dude on a pack of paper towels. Oh yeah.

I never said chip sandwichs, I suggested chips, and you said sandwichs because we were buying bread anyway

Your titles are always the funniest things! 🙂 Have you seen the new Candy Cane crop? At first I got it confused with Candy CORN from Halloween – Oops! It’s a pretty easy crop though, already mastered it!!! 🙁 Just purple asparagus to go (of the new crops)
