Over-grown antlers
Quarter past 6 this morning, Jake and I simultaneously sat up in bed, wide awake. The loudest clap of thunder at the same time as an incredibly bright sky-filling lightning was what woke us up. Thankfully, the thunder and lightning stopped and it just started pouring rain, so we got back to sleep pretty quickly. I was still pretty amused that we both woke up at the same time.
Wednesday was farmer’s market day. We bought enough veggies for the two of us for almost 2 weeks for under $8. AND we were supporting local farmers. So that was so much awesome. And on the way home we noticed that the reindeer bush has grown it’s antlers. Looks hilarious. I really wish I had taken my camera with me. I really should go outside tomorrow to get a picture of it, it is rather amusing.
Today I have done… nothing. The combination of walking to the farmer’s market (we haven’t been for a walk in aaaaaaaages) yesterday and my period made me want to do nothing but lay down. Which sucks because I was going to type all the odahq-recipes up but eh, they can wait.
This entry needs a picture. I’ve really run out of ideas for pictures though. And how many more months are there? Ugh, a picture a day is a lot of … thought.
Yay, it is knees!
Jake is flipping the channels between Superbad and Kncoked Up. Either way, I’m going to go watch tv with him.
I love the Farmer’s Market. Duckie doesn’t like the crowd, though.

RYN: Our Farmer’s Market is right on the capitol square downtown, so it’s always just packed. I guess it doesn’t help that we live in the state capital. Sadly, the ones in the smaller outlying cities are always during times when Duckie’s at work. 🙁

That reminds me; our farmer’s market starts today! I love it & hate it equally; love for the obvious goodness, hate because it means fall’s on its way.
