Pots and Socks all over the floor
Oh my blob, I am exhausted. I have been running around (well… sliding around. Best part about no carpet anywhere in the apartment, I can slide EVERYWHERE!!) cleaning and such all day long.
I also organised every cupboard and drawer that needed more space, using my magical space-making powers. Unfortunately only 2 cupboards in the kitchen, the little freezer, a drawer in here, and all the dresser drawers in the kitchen needed organising. That is way less than half of what we have. So now all those places have more space, but the same amount of stuff. And we had a bunch of messed-up popsicles from when our freezer broke last year (Jake has been avoiding them so they were just sitting on the bottom of the freezer being neglected) so I smooshed them up and now we have popsicle ice cubes that Jake is all excited about using. I’m just glad they will be gone soon.
After I ran out of things to re-organise, I curled up on the ottoman like a kitty and took a little nap. Jake took this picture (clearly). Mmm… so comfy.
Ooh! Yesterday morning, there was a chipmunk in the tree just outside the kitchen window!
Cuteness. It disappeared from view just before Jake got home from work. I love that tree, birds like to hang out in it and so it is like having a little zoo-type exhibit at home. (In one of our other windows we have a spider exhibit, mum enjoyed that when I showed her.) This tree is also good because there is no curtain/blind for this set of windows, so without all those leaves, our kitchen and the bathroom doorway are visible from the parking lot.
It has been raining all afternoon. I think it stopped at about 7. Pretty much the entire bathroom ceiling was dripping, so the floor is covered in pots, and a bucket for the really big drip. When I cleaned out Jake’s drawers, I grabbed all the socks with holes in them to throw them out. Right now, though, they are all over the bathroom floor, helping sop up all the water that missed the pots. It looks so trashy in there right now, it’s hilarious.
I am in love with chipmunks! When my dad died we were all sitting outside on a bench and one came right up to me and looked me in my eye. Than there was one here stealing seeds out of my garden. I never would see them before until my dad died. Isn’t that crazy? I know I am! lol I always love seeing that you have wrote an entry and there are pictures! Makes me excited! lol

The tree opposite our house has these 2 huge birds living in it that have loud, squawking sex. It’s very odd to watch! Lee Mee xXx
