Don’t clap for suction, we’ll be here all night.

This weekend has been so lovely. Having the bed in the lounge room is SO COMFY. Plus, it makes the whole room seem like a hotel room. So it’s like we’ve been on vacation, but all my stuff is here. The best kind of vacation! I hate going places and being away from all my stuff, so this is very nice. The window is right by my head when we sleep, and it has been so lovely and warm with a nice cool breeze all weekend, so very very mmm.

On Friday, all the crawling around on the couch-fort gave me carpet-burn esque damages on my elbows. Took me most of Saturday to work out why.

We’ve been doing our daily walks again. Missed that in the frozen months. The past week, we’ve been running for short stretches as well, which has gone from rather tiring to nothing rather quick, which is awesome. Only time it was hard to run today was the first bit when Jake realised his shorts were too loose so he was holding them up as he ran. Laughing while running = very difficult!

Ooh! For dinner tonight we had meatloaf. Turkey meatloaf. Wrapped in panchetta. It was GOOD. Jake thought it was fantastic, I didn’t think it was that great though, it was slightly lacking. Probably because the original recipe is for ‘turkey meatloaf sandwiches’ with flavoured mayo. Next time, a bit more flavour. Yumyum though, rather goodness.

YARR! There’s an ad that has a line "oh yeah, and it literally gave birth to every other mini-van" or something like that. Such a stupid, stupid line. That really bothers me.

Reminder to self: get new mp3 charger cable. Silly thing stopped working.

Title: At about 55 seconds.

“So it’s like we’ve been on vacation, but all my stuff is here. The best kind of vacation!” WOOT! “it literally gave birth to every other mini-van” I hate it when people confuse ‘literally’ and ‘figuratively’… it makes them look like freaking morons. *headdesk* RYN: “I heard a version of “we are the world” the other day, done by a whole bunch of guys from metal bands. It was HILARIOUS.” That is SO going on my list for the next time I go song-hunting! 🙂 ~Shady

Glad to hear you’re getting some nice warm (and by warm I mean anything but freezing cold) weather :). Our weather sucks, almost a month into autumn and was still 35 the other day 🙁 Yum, dinner. You know I’ve never had meatloaf before lol.

I haven’t had meatloaf in a while, now I’m going to have to make some!

I love having my bed in the living room.

RYN: “I want ‘onesie’ pyjamas. Never had them as a kid and so I have no idea if I’d like, but they look comfy!” I wish I could find ‘adult sized’ footie pajamas that I can afford (I found some but I don’t have $60+ to spare). The ones I have don’t have the feet attached but they’re VERY nice when it’s really cold because you never get that annoying my-shirt-inched-up-and-my-pants-inched-down-and-now-I’m-waking-up-cuz-my-middle-is-cold problem. The down-side: Having to take it ALL off to use the bathroom. I need one of those ones with the ‘butt flap’. *giggles* ~Shady
