I preferentially start hula-ing to the left
(This is currently my facebook picture. From May last year)
Today has been so SO lovely. The sun was shining, the wind was blowing… it really felt like it was trying to be summer. Absolutely lovely. I enjoy being able to open all the windows and let some fresh air in here.
Yesterday I went through and took all the good pictures of Jake and I that were on Matt’s (Jake’s stepdad) snapfish thingy. This picture is from last Tuesday, when we went to TGI’s. Jake’s mum Lisa is leaning on Jake, and on the other side of the table is Nick, Stacy and Kristen (barely).
(I like this picture A LOT. Even though I look like I was the only one who wasn’t shocked by a sudden camera.)
This evening we went and grabbed delicious wraps from the store for dinner. Mine featured CRANBERRY MAYO, and as always, it made me think of Amrai. She is obsessed with the miracle that is cranberry mayo.
(Clearly, this is from Christmas)
We ate our wraps outside, at the little table in the backyard. It was lovely, but kinda a bit too cool, so we didn’t stay out long. But just the 10 minutes it took to eat the tasty realyl felt like a big CHANGE and when we came inside it felt like we had been out and about on a date for hours. In a good way. Way lovelylovely.
(If Jake’s eyes were open, this would have been my facebook picture. There are many pictures from all the ‘occasions’ that Matt posted photos of, in which I am pulling this pose or similar. I don’t like pictures of me not smiling so I tend to hold a smile when Matt is going photo-crazy)
I can’t think of a final line for this entry. So, pretend I wrote something really awesome, ok?
That first one is so adorable.

ryn: Ah that stinks. Well it’ll be worth it 🙂 Ooo pictures! Haha Jake has awesome shirts. :)That The first picture is a nice picture of you guys. They’re all good pictures. 🙂 Cranberry Mayo yay! I’ve told Cori about this wondrous thing and she said “That’s weird.” So I guess that means she’s never heard of it before either lol.

RYN: “The name ‘Krack For Children’ explains a lot.” I can’t even take credit for that one, one of my nephews popped off with it one day. We had decided on KFC for lunch and in our order were some of those little ‘wet napkins’ in tiny paper/foil wrappers and all they said on them was “KFC”. My nephew didn’t realize what they were (he’s used to the regular fast-food paper napkins) and asked if there was some kind of topping inside. We laughed a little and asked what kind of ‘topping’ KFC might be and he thought for a second, drew a blank, and finally snarked, “Krack For Children?” I adore that kid. ~Shady

Do you guys have a lovely picnic table in the back of your house, all done up & pretty for random picnics? We seriously need to use our yard more… you know, once the snow’s gone.
