You are a cheesenius!
Is it wrong that every time I think (or hear… or want to say) "Oh boy!" my brain completes it with a Simpsons quote? So quite often it seems I just randomly say "Buffalo testicles!" because the oh boy part was silent.
My calf muscles are SO STIFF lately. Especially on the left side. Have been since Saturday. It takes me a few steps to even pretend to be able to walk normally. It makes it hard to sit comfortably because the way I want to sit always involves bent legs and if my legs are bent then they won’t be able to straighten and…
I did lots of cooking today. Well, lots compared to the none I usually do. Jake does the cooking, I do the baking. And I prepare stuff for cooking. But the man applies the heat. It’s how we work, and it works well for us. Today I made 2 chicken "pot pies" that are really just curry chicken casseroles (one for tomorrow night’s dinner, one to freeze) and really… I should have taken a photo of the mess I made. Normally I clean as I go, but I was doing the many layers of things for the meal all at once so cleaning wasn’t happening. Would have made an interesting photo for the day.
This is (blurry) dinner, the other thing I cooked. Normally Jake does this, but I was having fun browning up the slices of chicken (the other day we got a roast chicken from the store – cold sandwiches that night, these sandwiches, the 2 pot pies AND there is still some for random snackables! Awesome!) and ended up just doing it all. Jake was standing next to me watching so we pretended it was a test. Well, I pretended. He sort of went along with it. At the end, my ‘grade’ was "100 million out of 100". They were pretty tasty.
I’ve had a LOT of contact with people I wasn’t expecting any contact from today. My mum and dad are currently in Cardiff, and normally when mum goes there for work she doesn’t have internet so our daily emails cease for the time she is there. But this time they have internet! So I got 3 emails from mum this morning! Because not only does she have internet, but she’s only 5 hours ahead of me! So her time she was sending emails at 2pm instead of the usual 1am. Mmm… goodness. I also got an email from my dad, and now I have the recipe for his chicken pasta sauce. That’s gonna be fun to make. And to top off all the communication, Michelle (Jake’s Mum’s best friend) called us TWICE today. It’s rare for me to have so much contact with the outside world. Well, non-OD contact.
To summarise this entry in Jenn-fashion: I DID NOT MUCH. I ATE SANDWICH! heh
and what did Michelle call you for??? That looks yummy. Miss You

ryn: you didn’t know the second one is the last? ep 13 of each season is a two-parter look at how Dollhouse affected the future, set 10 years later. Both ep 13s were created in the event of cancellation, the first part if cancelled after season one and the second part to conclude the second series. They are on DVD in US as bonus, they will both be aired here.

Joss got fair notice of the cancellation in November so the season ties up nicely, no worry. I haven’t seen it all yet but it ends with the Boyd and Whiskey stuff all sorted. January 22 it ought to end in US. Oh and ep 13s are best watched after season 2, quite confusing otherwise imo
