Perpendicularly gorgeous

It’s been below freezing all day. I don’t know why, but that still blows my mind. The middle of the day… below freezing? It just… yeah. Even below freezing is a bit wow.

I want to make gingerbread men, but there are 2 problems. One, I don’t have any molasses. That’s easily fixable. Two, I don’t have any people-shape cookie cutters. I have just about everything else though. I can have gingerbread skull and crossbones and guitars and moose and turkeys and ghosts and dinosaurs and stars… just not people. I love my collection of cookie cutters. I don’t make cookies that need them enough though. Only this time of year, with sugar cookies. Mmm….

I am going to make SO MANY cookies. I just have to wait a bit, can’t make them yet or they would be stale by the time I need them.

My title is something Jake called me earlier. I’m not sure what it means, but it is awesome.

ohhh, I think you should make the Ginger bread skulls, make it different. You could always just draw them on a square cookie?

I’m making chocolate crackles for christmas 🙂 I often put a moose on my pies, must remember that sweet potato needs a moose 🙂

Yum, cookies! You definitely need to invest in some people cutters!

Gingerbread skulls would be awesome.

Oh blast, I saw some gingerbread people cutters last week. A whole family with different sizes. Almost bought them. Should have. Think they have gone now.

Hah, winter here sucks. One day you’ll be used to it. Skull and crossbone gingerbread cookies would be awesome!

i vote on the skull and cross bones ginger bread skulls i think that would be great….but im weird and random…just put them in a bag and drop them at neighbours houses front doors 😀 told you I was weird lol 🙂

I would love to see gingerbread skulls and crossbones. It’s been below freezing at my house this whole week. I don’t mind the cold so much, because then we don’t have ice to deal with. It’s when it gets around 35-40F that makes me nervous. I hate driving when it’s icy.

ryn: Yeah once, if ever. I’ll start saving up, for real because I’ll probably try and take the train a little before I hop in crowded flying machine. Maybe I’ll win the lottery for my birthday? Good idea about the MJs. 🙂 Yeah, found the book way out of town so it’s being got now and I’ll probably Christmas shop later.

gingerbread stars!

It was -14 degrees Celsius here today. That’s ummm…6.8 degree Fahrenheit. That’s without windchill. No wind today. Flippin’ cold. And I went to the dog park. Poor Hawksley was shivering. Poor pup. ~jo
